I don’t know the tick rates of halo infinite, I know for a fact it’s not 128 that’s for sure. There’s so much Desync that even on 20 ping I get shot behind walls and players eat my shots like this is h3. Please make this # 1. Priority. On 50 ping+ I can’t 4 shot in ranked it just doesn’t work. Consistency is key.
Aren’t you glad you will now be able to not damage someone with your 3+ melee hits, but in a brand new slayer exclusive playlist?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad there’s new playlists, but the priorities are scuffed.

Unfortunately they chose to listen to the players screaming for slayer playlists than people asking for stability in the game. I wouldn’t expect them to fix this anytime soon.
I thought I am the only one with Desync issues, since I play on the old xbox one.
Maybe we can provide greater feedback if we name the platforms we are playing on and where in the world we are located?
I understand the struggle and it is not fun to play laggy games. But please keep the conversations civilized.
Xbox One in Germany (Europe)
It was a huge topic on Reddit a week ago. I just think it really needs to see some attention with feedback it’s being worked on. Because no game I play feels this way. I can play a BR on 90-100 ping that has low tick rates and movement and shots feels fine. This game has no good excuse. It’s a shame how Valorant wasn’t able to set a standard for games to be high tick rates
The platforms have NOTHING to do with Desync, don’t confuse fps and Desync

Yeah hopefully. I’m just worried it’ll take months. Networking is the most difficult thing when it comes to tech.
Same feelings here. I want more playlists, but I also want stable and consistent gameplay. I want to play ranked, but every game feels so different in a bad way. Some games I feel like everything is perfectly fine, in others I can’t land shots, feels like some shots just don’t register, I melee people and it doesn’t register, I backsmack people and it just counts as a regular melee, people are rubberbanding and stuttering back and fourth while strafing… sometimes it’s subtle and just slightly off, sometimes it’s absolutely unplayable, and others it’s perfectly fine.
I don’t know if it’s desync by way of poor net code, or if it’s desync because I get put into a server not in my region for the sake of lowering wait times. Either way, I’m fine with waiting 30 seconds - 5 minutes to get a quality game in my region, rather than instantly getting into poor quality games on Servers outside my region… I want quality, not quantity.
Do they? I haven’t seen 343 respond to anything regarding desync issues on the forums, reddit, twitter, discord and support tickets.
Someone on Reddit posted a video with his experience, he discovered a way to desync reliably every time he wanted to, using a warthog, a 343 developer commented and said that he was passing the video to the team, so they should know about it.
Anyway, if it happens to you, record it and send a ticket, halo support says that the developers focus on fixing the most frequent bugs first, every ticket should help
Ah okay, they ‘passed it along to the dev team’. Not by end of 2022 then 
I’m pretty sure it has to do with Microsoft’s Teredo servers since the forza community has been having problems with their game as well. I just hope they fix this faster than the de sync issues in MCC
yeah, here on a pc. good connection, really good infact. yet i suppose that doesn’t matter since i’l be shot despite being behind cover. or ya know… shots not going through.
for instance, shooting the spnkr. i’d hear the sound, see the rocket firing, ready to kill myself and the enemy opponent right infront me me… yet i guess that rocket never existed because i died and said person didn’t despite the rocket CLEAR AS DAY firing. so they won the combat situation. same thing goes with tossing nades, it’s delayed. or players taking more rounds than they should
Server connectivity and smoothness should definitely be number one on their priorities of fixing things definitely I agree with you on that Halo infinite has a lot that needs to be fixed but that should definitely be number one so players can actually play the game smoothly without having issues and something I think 343 should have done when they release Halo infinite instead of saying that it was the full game they straight up should have just said the game was still in development they shouldn’t have said it was a full game because it’s not like it’s very obvious they didn’t have enough time to finish the game they could have just said that they were releasing the game anyways with it being unfinished and they would be continuing to update it later on
I have definitely noticed this too however I play on console not PC but I didn’t notice anything like this at all until December 8th there was no problems for me until that day so I’m hoping they will fix the server sometime soon and grenades I really hope that they fix them because they have a seriously short fuse I’m dying more to grenades and Halo infinite than I have in any other Halo game you throw them and they explode within like a half second after hitting the ground they blow up ridiculously fast and it makes it really hard to get out of the way of them and it makes it even harder to do so when you’re being warped backwards into said grenade
To everyone here saying that they should have focused on fixing the desync issues, thats not how that works. Technical teams and content development teams are seperate, its not one or the other. Not to mention that its not like these are anywhere close to the same level of difficulty. Overhauling a full hit registration system isnt the same as adding in a matchmaking without shields or just letting you select one form of matchmaking is nowhere near as intensive.
How about EU and Asian servers? Ah I forgot, MS seems to look again just for US players. Still can’t believe it took so long to get EU servers on mcc and infinite missing them in total
so is anyone else having the issue with the sky highjack being bugged? i did it yesterday and the achievement has never popped
