So recently one of the only gametypes I have been playing is WZFF and this is for one reason, Warden kills. The commendation is nearly impossible to get because you need to actually get the final shot on warden to gain a kill on the commendation. So 343, i am asking you to maybe consider changing it to anyone who receives the takedown medal on warden to get a kill towards the commendation. It is very frustrating ti finish the commendation so please change it!

I’ve got two left but no idea when I’ll get them now since the update has randomized warden appearances. And yeah it’s super annoying to get the medal but not progress on the commendation.
As annoying as it is, it’s pretty easy to get the final shot if you are in a scorpion and time it right. I’ve been doing that and I’ve only got 5 left to go until I have finished it . However I feel wrong doing it because I feel like I’m cheating my teammates but I just want this final enemy kill commendation done then I wont ever do it again

I’ve got two left aswell. OP, play enough firefight games and you’ll get it easily. If you get lucky you can get multiple in one game.
All the ai kill commendations require you to get the final shot. Why should Warden be any exception?

This is usually what I do when in Firefight and it’s been working very well. Only got 8 left go now and managed to clear levels 3 and 4 of the commendation in less than a week.
Had a couple of games where I had 3 wardens as my round 5 and managed to take all of them out which helped boost it up.

Use an smg, the answer, or a splinter grenade.
Try doing that commendation when there was no firefight. The struggle was real then.
Imagine how fun it was for everyone before WZFF came around. At least you have a better chance now as compared to regular warzone. Hannibal scorpion wrecks him if you happen to have any. Good luck!

Yeah but i just dont have that luck to get them, i hardly get them now

Yeah i feel like an absolute -Yoink- for doing it but it seems like the only way
It’s not broken. Only one player gets the kill. What you are getting is a boss kill medal because you assisted in the killing of the boss. You did not land the killing blow however.

It wasn’t on Hunters like that - even if you weren’t the one who hit the final shot, it still counted.
I have been slaying Wardens like crazy earlier in Warzone and now in WZ Firefight and I still have 6 more to go.
SIX MORE WARDENS TO GO.
The % chance of you getting the final hit and to count towards the commendation is like 10% - 1/10… because most likely 1 out of 10 Wardens you kill will count towards it…

Exactly,if you get the -Yoinking!- medal you should get a kill towards the commendation. If it was like that from the start i would have done all the enemy commendations by now!
I killed three today. Yes I got the last shot. The score tracker on the left side of the screen read “You eliminated warden eternal”, not “teammates eliminated warden eternal”. Not a single one counted towards my commendation. If some people are progressing through WZFF and others aren’t there has to be a bug somewhere in scoring on Warden. At least to me anyway.
It’s actually really easy. You don’t have to kill that many for a commendation mastery. All you have to do is get the last shot with a tank or wasp or something, or assassinate and hope your tea mates don’t take it down before you’re done. With how often they show up in wz and wzff it shouldn’t be a challenge. Just don’t be afraid to spend your reqs.

Yep, that’s the most irritating thing.
While it worked on all other commendations - it somehow DOES NOT work on the Warden.
Only after the match ended you can pray to the RNG God to see if you were lucky enough to score that last shot.

^ yep, we should. Instead we end up getting craptons of Warden medals and the commendation is still taunting us for being incomplete… It’s almost more irritating than the eggheads…
c’mon men is more easy now with Warzone Firefight. You only have to fight 7 people for get the commendation. When I unlocked the commendation I had to fight 23 people. Just wait and shot in the right time.
