There is ZERO delay when you switch between weapons. This makes switching weapons with the mouse wheel super frustrating. I have to be super delicate with my mouse wheel to not accidentally switch back to my previous weapon. Which is really difficult when things get hectic.
It really ruins the experience for me. I just can’t get used to switch weapons on keyboard buttons anymore. I tried it, but I always end up using the mouse wheel instead. It’s just faster and more accessible to me.
I never experienced this in any other shooter out there. This can’t be intended, right? I can see why it would be intended for controller, but for a good portion of people out there who play with a mouse on PC, I am certain the majority out there uses the mouse wheel to switch their weapons. It just feels second nature to do so.
I don’t think you can expect people to change their habits for this one game. If switching weapons with your mouse wheel works perfectly fine in every other shooter on the market, it’s just a crutch to relearn something that has been normalized in every other game.
