So just like everyone else we are experiencing the same matchmaking issues. And when we do get games going only 1 out of 5 times are we booted to the main screen. An issue i haven’t seen brought up is when you’re in a party of 4 (3 different xb1s, 2 of them on the same network) the difficulty of connectivity through both on the game (pressing x and inviting/joining a friend) or the inviting through snapping the party. And once we managed to get connected with each other on the game and party and start searching for a match, the moment the party leader opts to restart search by pressing B and trying a different or the same playlist it will separate everyone already partied up on the game leaving you to redo the party&game feature over and over again. Is it just us who is experiencing this? Are we doing something wrong? Please help!!
Yes, everyone is having this problem. I think it’s the worst bug in the game right now. I wouldn’t mind waiting so much for games if I didn’t have to basically restart halo everytime we back out of matchmaking to get the party system to work. I’m hoping that’s one of the main fixes of their update they are releasing in the next few days.
Yeah, this has been my number one complaint thus far. I’m not so broken up about the fact that I might have to restart the MM Searching process a couple of times to find a game, but it’s like pulling teeth to get people partied up together. Spent almost two hours last night just getting people in a party, having first everyone restarting the game so everyone could sync up, then trying match making a couple of times before we eventually gave up and played customs. But after our custom match, the Post Game bugged out, forcing all of us out of the party, inevitably leading to us giving up and calling it a night. Of all the problems, KEEPING A PARTY TOGETHER IS THE LARGEST THUS FAR. Otherwise, loving the game…when it works.
Obviously everyone needs mm to work first but right after I agree because the party system is broken
Yep, this is priority number 1 for me. I can get plenty of MM games when searching solo, and pretty quickly too. But add a person to my party? Not as easy. Also the not being able to add everyone at all times and having to re-do the process when you do back out to re-search is as aggravating as it gets. If they fix that in this coming patch, I’ll be happy.
This is the most annoying issue so far. Half the time someone joins a party and it only joins through XBL and not in game. Then the whole backing out splits the party is killer. Plus, just like what others said, if the party splits up, 80% of the time everyone has to reboot the game to reconnect.
yes, most annoying issue by far. slow matchmaking is one issue, but a broken party system prevents you from playing MM, custom and co-op games with any of your friends. practically renders and social aspect of the game useless. it took us 30 mins the other night to get 4 people in the party right so we could do a custom game together. i would like to see this fixed before anything else. also after every custom game we did on stone town/assault, it would reset all the options to Shine/ricochet, so weird
