Please Fix for Steam Deck!

Please for the love of all things good, just do a patch to make multiplayer Steam Deck compatible. Honestly don’t care about infinite, just want some classic Halo vibes on the go, multiplayer included. If MCC is dead, just tell us. Give us some kind of update. This is by far the most egregious thing y’all done, Microsoft. The way I see it, 343 Halo (4,5,Infinite) is all just ‘meh’ fan art. True Halo was the brilliant memories of the early 2000s, which was such a different era. Just the vibes. Man, the Xbox 360 was a pure vibe machine (RROD not included lol). Here’s the harsh facts. Halo MCC will never truly encapture the true vibes of the originals. Here’s why - for one, small details like ambient menu sound effects which went on for like over an hour, just creating this sense of sadness, grandiosity and so on with distant gun fire and the likes; more emphasis of social aspects, MCC feels like it was created to not be even remotely social - no matching up with each other, no proximity Chat, no checking out other players Spartans before matchmaking. Sitting in a lobby, talking to other players, checking each other out essentially, even voting created a sense of community, but I can understand why that was removed. All the while, while you were engaging with others, the ambient war background sounds would play, setting the tone. It was perfect. MCC just rushes you into a match without care. I can’t even send out a decent message between matches without being AFK for a few seconds in the next match because the game doesn’t know how to chill. 343 just doesn’t feel alive, they seem isolated from the word, as they don’t see the need for atmospheric lobbies, instead everything feels artificial. Just like the modern era, everything feels less lively, more removed from reality. Also, the ODST start up was added to the beginning of the campaign… why wasn’t the Halo Reach intro animation added to the beginning of the Halo Reach campaign in MCC? Again, I’m very disappointed in MCC. They came along way, but Microsoft shot them in the foot. Well y’all ain’t getting my money for infinite. At this point I’d take microtransactions in MCC if it meant getting all these things plus bots to immortalize multiplayer and make matchmaking eventually available offline. And I’d honestly support them and pay for microtransactions if they devoted themselves to accomplishing these tasks, but they won’t. They could study player behavior to make bots life like. They could even collect player voices and add the collection of conversations and funny arguments to the game for offline bot matchmaking to make it feel authentically lifelike. I know that sounds weird and invasive, granted it would have to be something the player opts into, or perhaps a promt for consent would be given to the player. Idk, just pipe dreams. Anyway, tangent aside, hopefully they add Steam Deck support. Fingers crossed.
