Please fix CTF Slayer in the August update

In order to bring Slayer and Objective together, CTF Slayer was developed and integrated into ‘Flagstravaganza’. Initially I was happy with it, but after a few games, I saw the issues with it. CTF outweighs Slayer.
‘CTF Slayer’ is great, but it could be so much better. To be improved, take a currently successful game mode: Team Fortress 2’s CTF gametype. (Details from TF2 Wiki). The Ideas below are slightly inspired and adapted from this gametype.
As it is currently (in reach), CTF Slayer is 50 points per capture and 1 point per kill.I believe the following changes should be made:

> [/li]1. DMR + AR starts, 1 frag.
> 1. Sprint, Jetpack, Hologram and Active Camouflage loadouts
> 1. Flag Auto-Pickup enabled
> 1. 60 second flag reset (no returning)
> 1. Flags constantly waypointed (flag carrier waypoint visible to all)
> 1. 20 points per flag capture
> 1. 1 point per kill
> 1. +1 point per flag carrier kill
> 1. Flag carrier: 90% speed, no weapon/AA use, 1-hit flag kill
> 1. 100 points to win
[/quote]
The reason behind this is that the gametype will be less of a CTF gametype and become more CTF/Slayer balanced, as intended.Currently, killing is essentially pointless, as it is uncommon for a team to get more than 50 kills in a game (the equivalent to 1 flag capture).
> Here is the gametype complete except for the 1 point for assists.
> In my eyes, this is the ‘perfect’ competitive/social Halo gametype. Easily accessible, yet can be highly tactical. If this were implemented into the August update, I would be a happy man, and CTF Slayer would be saved.

These settings look pretty good. I’ve not been on my xbox for a couple of weeks (actually been playing TF2 recently) but when I come back on, I’ll make sure I try it out.

Interesting.

You win everything with this thread.

10/10 for content.
10/10 for style.
and 10/10 for 117 and 7 references.

Good job!

I agree the flag capture is set too high. It’s basically just reg. CTF the way it is now.
