Right, with the obvious Exception of the “Standard Warthog” and the “ONI Warthog”. What is the difference between the Tundra, Urban, Corp and Forest Warthogs, Scorpions and Mantises? The description only says “Upgraded Armour/Extra Armour”, that doesn’t really mean much, they went though the effort to put in a nice flavour text. But can we have some actual genuine details on the upgrades? How much better is the armour? And that goes for everything else. What makes the Ultra and Oni vehicles so special? How are their weapons upgraded? Y’know?
Any details any can provide would be pretty useful. Thanks Guys.
More armor and some have different effects on their weapons if I’m correct. IE oni warthogs have hella armor and fire explosive rounds and don’t overheat. Always assume more damage and more armor.

But assuming isn’t exactly a bullet proof concept, it wouldn’t be wise to make assumptions on how powerful a vehicles is as that might lead to me foolishly overestimating how much it could withstand. Without testing it properly, how can you tell it has more armour? I said “With an obvious exception” of ONI warthogs. It’s quite apparent they have Explosive rounds and super high armour, especially since the Armour is substantially higher than the others. The others don’t specify upgraded weapons so there is no real way to tell. That’s my worry :S
I think they should have a labeled tier on vehicles. Not sure how they go up with unsc vehicles, but standard ghost would be tier 3, sword ghost tier 2 and ghost ultra tier 1. This would help identify what vehicles are the best.

When you unlock the cert for it, hover over it and itll tell you what it does in your collection.

That’s the thing. It doesn’t… Did you read the post? I clearly mentioned that 4 of the 6 variations of UNSC vehicles all say the same thing in their description when focusing on the actual gameplay functionality. Sure they have unique flavour text, but that doesn’t quite cut it. Because there is a complete lack in any real detail, I can’t tell if they just do the same thing, or if they aren’t being specific. 4 Vehicles that all have “Upgraded/Extra Armour” can mean they all have the same 50% extra, or they have 25% / 50% / 75% / 100% more. I was wondering if anyone had some real insight on this.

Not currently, no. It’s possible variations can be added, but frankly, that thing is as absolute powerhouse to start with. Tonnes of armour, barrage missiles, lightning fast dodging, fixed hover positions, rapid fire heavy machine gun. This thing has the qualities of a gunship and a futuristic armament combined. Plus it’s base legendary and I have only seen one person with it. So, from that I wouldn’t expect more to be added, but it’s still a possibility.

Agreed. It would be extremely useful. Especially with the UNSC vehicles.

Yes, it does. would you like a screenshot? Go to your COLLECTION which isn’t IN GAME and view them and it tells you at the BOTTOM of the screen. its 25% per upgrade if I’m correct. it doesn’t really matter tbh.

I took another look and still couldn’t find it. Just the same Vague descriptions as on Waypoint and My Collection. A Link or screenshot would be pretty helpful as I’m still not exactly sure where you mean.

> So far, there’s just the regular Phaeton. Since they’re adding reqs every month, though, I’m guessing there will be more eventually.
You’ve got standard vehicles, ONI vehicles which are a lot stronger and tougher, then you’ve got all the other ones (corp, tundra, woodland etc) The only major difference those vehicles have is that they have more armor, that’s it. The only reason why they’re multiple vehicle variants with the same armor buff is so that it takes longer to unlock everything in the REQ system.
