So I see people complaining that Halo 4 doesn’t explain certain things, well after replaying Halo 3, I’d like people to answer these using ingame explanations
How do Cortana/Gravemind moments happen?
How did High Charity get to the Ark?
These are never explained ingame, I could list many more, but these are good for now
> Does it matter? Stop bashing just for the sake of bashing.

Then why do people bash Halo 4 for “not explaining anything”? I’m not acting like a little child I’m bringing up valid points
And yes, yes it does matter, as a fan of the canon it’s never explained
> Does it matter? Stop bashing just for the sake of bashing.

Or you know he’s is bringing perfectly fine points which are never explored in game, but Halo 4 does that? How dare they not explain something as Halo 3 is apparently all godly and perfect when in fact it is utter crap

You aren’t bashing on Halo 3 solely because you want answers, you bash on it because people attack Halo 4 for various reasons.

To me, as a non-book reader none of the Halo games explain much. The games are generally bad story, and doesn’t explain a lot.

Oh it’s a part of the reason, but it seems everyone magically forgets all the unexplained stuff from Halo 3 when complaining about Halo 4’s plot, it’s pretty unfair treatment to Halo 4
And it’s proving a point, people can’t answer it because there aren’t ingame answers to the questions, why should Halo 4 be a -Yoinking!- exception to be singled out when it comes to not explaining stuff? At least there are terminals which give context for those who don’t read the books

You are desiring to seek revenge, which is childish as this is not really attacking you personally.

Desiring to prove a point, tell me, what makes Halo 3 so good everyone can forget the inconsistencies of the plot but blame Halo 4 for the same thing?
So are you going to answer the questions or continue derailing this thread and insulting me?

They blame Halo 4 for what it wrong, and Halo 3 for what it did wrong. Halo 3 just had it runs years ago.

Halo 3’s story got less hate than Halo 4’s, when Halo 3 had much more inconsistencies, but still I’m waiting for an answer for the questions I posed at the beggining

Cortana/Gravemind moments are primarily from the Gravemind, Cortana in Halo 3 is essentially plugged into it. I would say that because of it’s nature as a brain of sorts it is easily able to speak telepathically and because of that; broadcast some of Cortana along with it.
Even if that wasn’t so, I would say that the Gravemind moments were canon, but the Cortana moments were more of a manifestation in Chief’s mind. Any of those could be possible.
The same way the Covenant Cruiser came to Earth, via Slipspace. The Covenant knew the location of Earth after Halo 2 through Regret’s carrier launching an assault on New Mombasa. It isn’t a stretch to think that just ONE of those ships sent the location to High Charity where the remaining Prophets were. If that were the case then it would explain how the Flood controlled cruiser managed to find Earth via slipspace.
As for High Charity the same could be said, it could’ve just gone right through the Portal and teleported nearer to the Citadel because it had the coordinates.
With that being said it’s clear you’re basing this whole thread on a very basic distaste for Halo 3’s story. People like things, people dislike things. You need to get over that and stop acting like a child.
