I played all 10 games to rank in doubles with the same partner. We are dead even in our stats. He ranked in a Gold 6 and me a Silver 6. How is this possible? Makes no sense to me.

Probably because you’ve only been in the Silver tier the last couple of seasons and haven’t ranked up to Gold, so the game placed you in Silver. If you really believe you should be higher than that, prove it and rank up.
