Can someone please explain how with the following stat breakdown I only placed Plat 1?
Avg Kills per game = 19.1
Avg Deaths per game = 7.3
2.6 K/D
Won 7 out of 10 placements, in the losses I went 17-8, 11-8, 22-9.
They are the last 10 games I’ve played, I’ll wait.

Good job on the other stats, but winning the game is all that matters for rankings.
not sure to be honest cause i lost 5 or 6 games and i was places at onyx
Placements are supposed to put you on a level playing field. If I’m going 17-8, 22-9 and losing it’s obviously not on me I’m doing my part. I played one mediocre game and still went positive!
I was destroying through these placement games and got Plat 1, I won only a single FFA placement and I got Onyx…
You placement is mostly based off of your W/L ration. Hell im in platinum but I know I should actually be in gold. Your KDA is mostly for your personal stats.
I would imagine you won 7 games against lower than platinum and you lost to levels higher than platinum, so even though you won a lot, you won against lower ranks. at least I think that’s the way it works.

that makes sense cause the games i won i was pumping out 20 kills against onyx, the struggle of solo queuing got put in diamond on slayer. even with being the top guy on my team.

yeah, I was put in onyx for swat and team arena, diamond in slayer and platinum in breakout, I haven’t qualified in FFA yet. swat is easy compared to regular slayer for somebody who plays solo, it’s easier to carry. Slayer is difficult because teams seem to be so organized, grenade spam, and spawning with a disadvantage if enemies have brs/dmrs, it;s a huge team effort and a large struggle.

This was Shotty Snipes and I won every game either against a Plat or Placing player, only once did I play someone not plat/placing in which I lost to a team with one diamond and the rest placing. It’s not like I was destroying bronze and silver’s, I was destroying Platinum’s/placing players every game.
Basically this is how the placement games work.
Winning is weighed heavily over everything else. If you win every game you should get placed in onyx or better. However, during your placement matches you will play against opponents of all skill levels. The best example I can give you: If you lose to onyx players, but win against platinum players, you will be placed in diamond.
FFA is slightly different as you technically only need to place 6th or better against most opponents to be able to rank up.
