I am only here to hope that this next Halo game is good. Please take this as an opinion and not a state of fact. My honest review of Halo 4:
The latest Halo game was a good but it wasn’t quite the Halo I expected. I expected something which still had the ‘Atmosphere’ of a Halo game. Much like Halo 3’s community atmosphere to be precise. But there wasn’t any of that which upset me when I thought about the franchise and how much it had evolved the Fun and Creativity a game has never had before. Especially for the consoles too.
So upon my disappointment I sold the game pretty much immediately after I played online, to find that being a shambles at the same time. So the game was sold. Didn’t even want to play the game again. Mainly because it didn’t feel right. It didn’t feel like … Halo.
So I’m giving the last chance to correct what was wrong. The forge tools. The Multiplayer aspect of the game, the theatre which you removed from campaign and the rest of it.
Please make this one good and not a total shambles like the last. Thanks
Agreed, but I honestly thought Halo 2 had the best matchmaking. I couldn’t play Halo 3’s Custom Games because my friends never wanted to play it… Shame.
I know I played Halo 3 but I can’t remember because of how old I was at the time. I can remember some scenarios of the campaign or at least I think I can. I wish I played it a lot more before the servers were closed.
I really liked Halo 3’s SP & MP. I used to bash it with the same full lobby on the different maps all of the time. If I remember right some were:
> Trashmaster
> Jenga
> Fat Kid &/on Blow Up The Bridge variant
> Ghost Busters (On Foundy but can’t remember proper name)
I used to love this game. I need to play it again just to feel the difference between that and the newer Halo games. I could just imagine a remake of this pleasing the community, although I doubt it will ever happen.
I agree with you man. Ever since after Halo 3, Halo just hasn’t felt the same. And I think that is what has caused the biggest suffering to the community. Most people who do not want to play it anymore are upset because it does not feel like Halo. Especially now that Halo 4 mp felt like CoD. That being said, I still enjoyed Halo 4 but not as a Halo game. If Halo 5 does not deliver a Halo game, then there will not be much reason to play it.
