With Gamescon coming up as well as a couple of other shows, and the inevitable ramp up in marketing, I’m really hoping 343i don’t reveal any more about the story/campaign. Marketing has a tendency to reveal too much about a game nowadays and I’m really enjoying not knowing anymore about the story than what we have…but marketing being marketing…
So far, 343 and MS have done a spectacular job of hyping people up for the campaign while avoiding spoiling too much of the games plot. Really, all we know until this point is that Locke and Chief are going head to head, Jul Mdama is in some serious trouble, huge space birds are appearing out of nowhere and that the Warden Eternal has one hell of a ego. So I have faith that they will have plenty of surprises in store for us come October.
While I agree, as to not give too much away, I think 343i has done a great job of giving us snippets without revealing too much.

Absolutely agree, 343i and MS have done a phenomenal job so far of creating hype without giving too much away; I guess I’m just wary that as the marketing ramps up, so too will how much is revealed

They’re doing a great job and things like HuntTheTruth are getting us hyped without revealing any of the Halo 5 story. Keep it coming!
Idk. I saw Frankie’s interview during E3 and he was so hype’d that he practically said that when Locke finds chief. They’ll end up teaming up to fight a dangerous enemy

That is my problem/what makes me happy.
I WANT TO KNOW MORE, but at the same time I don’t.
343i, you know how to tease a game better than anybody.
Hyped for Halo 5: Guardians and CRACKDOWN at Gamescom next week.
At most they should show the blue team segment from greenskull’s trip,

Glad to see I’m not the only one. I like to know how everything plays out and then see it for myself. Idk why I like it.
I agree, it is always more fun discovering the story for yourself. With halo 4, we knew every new enemy type before launch, there’s no fun in that. Honestly, I hope 343 is lying about some stuff to surprise us.
Stop looking for more info if you don’t want to see it?
We have gotten almost nothing on the campaign. I doubt anything they show at Gamescom will reveal too much.
