Every time I hear this track, it makes me think about Cortana and her relationship with John. This is perfect for Halo 4, considering the campaign plot will do some revolving around their relationship.

No. I would honestly prefer it if 343i used their own ‘stuff’. Though Never Forget is a great track, I think Neil should only use his own original content, while only using previous Halo soundtracks for inspiration.

Unforgotten is Halo 2’s version, Never Forget is Halo 3’s.

But Never Forget is slightly changed version for Halo 3, Unforgotten is Halo 2’s.

I remember sitting on the Halo 3 main menu just listening to this while watching the camera pan around the portal to the Ark.
Normally I would say use all new music, but they should keep this one or at least adapt it, for old times sake.

Well they are pretty much the same soundtrack, Unforgotten was Halo 2’s menu music too.

It was like secondary main menu music on Halo 2. They’re pretty much the same though.

Agreed-it’s such a nice track. Although personally I prefer Roll Call and the Cortana Suite.

Yeah, I remember being disappointed loads of times when this music didn’t appear on the menu or loading screen lol
This song is the reason I got both the H2 and H3 soundtracks. Loved it. Personally a fan of Unforgotten more. Never Forget drags on a bit more than is needed IMO, although both are great songs. I’d be sad to see them go.

Leonidas and Leonidas Returns in my opinion are the greatest pieces of music I have ever heard.
I could honestly care less about both variation of songs…Srry
