Bungie made Halo in a way that is personal and fun in its own ways. And they made Halo using on rule. That rule is the rule 343 fails to see. They called it the golden rule of Halo (you can google it, it is real.) That rule consists of the player able to do three actions at anytime. Its was Gun-play,Melee, and grenades. But one thing breaks the golden rule. Sprint (HEAR ME OUT PLEASE). The golden rule states you should be able to do these three things at anytime in the game. Sprint negates that golden rule by forcing players to use it. Some may use the argument that sprint is optional. But it really is not. To play Halo everyone must be on the same pace. But if you choose not to sprint you will be behind in game play. Some will say the argument that Halo reach had sprint. Bungie admitted when adding armor abilities ruined the golden rule, but they wanted to go all out on Halo reach because it was their last Halo game. They also stated that Halo Reach changed halo forever in a bad way by messing with the golden rule. Now there is a also counter saying sprint just makes everyone get places faster. But if you remove sprint they will make the maps smaller, in theory means it will be the same time with or without sprint. Because with sprint the maps are all stretched out to accompany the extra movement speed. Also another thing off topic is that there are no vehicles in slayer. They have always been in every halo Bungie made in normal slayer. Why remove them? It can give a team that is the under dog a winning edge. You may say it takes away the arena affect. But it doesn’t. Halo 1,2,3, and reach had this game play and it still was used in MLG matches and felt like arena game play. We need to let 343 know what we want. We need to make Halo Great Again.
Another side note: WTF why do you remove game types? All the other Halos had gametypes to last in limitless potential. Each different in matches and not repetitive.

My thoughts are you said alot without really saying anything thats not been said before, much like most threads about the pros and cons of this game I see no point in them. Its all been said before a thousand times and for some bizarre reason our glorious monitors will allow it to be said for a thousand more times regardless of how over saturated these types of posts get.

I hope it keeps going till somebody listens and makes some changes to the game.
Why not just not use sprint if you don’t want to, it teleports you to catch up anyway, I’m not sure what the sprint fuss is about to be honest. Halo is boring without sprint and you can’t move forward from cover to cover without it any more
I like sprint. It was my biggest request in the old games. I hated seeing suicide grunts and grenade barrages and then having to power walk away as if I was a 90 year old soldier that was stiff as -Yoink-.

The point of everyone posting this is because we want them to change it, because 343 is not listening.
