I am going to be so disappointed if armor abilities are back in Halo 4. they were the big thing that ruined Halo Reach for me. Armor Abilities are not Halo! Bloom is not Halo! take them out please!
People screamed for them, even after Reach failed.
I don’t know why.
I dont understand why anyone likes them. Bloom I could semi deal with, after playing for awhile its like it wasnt even there. but those armor abilities…only one I could stand was sprint, and maybe evade. all others just completely ruined the game for me

I think I can deal with bloom, although I wouldn’t prefer it. I feel that Evade was too powerful, and also annoying when you accidentally fall off of a map.
I don’t have a problem with AA’s. I disliked bloom, but got used to it just fine. I’d prefer AA’s not to be implemented in the same way they were in Reach, though. AA’s aren’t confirmed in any great aspect. We know there’s sprint, and we know there’s some sort of thruster, but not how it functions.
Also, calling something not ‘Halo’ isn’t helping anything. It’s not constructive criticism. Also, it is ‘Halo.’ It’s been in a Halo game, so it is, in fact, Halo. Whether or not you like it is one thing, but calling it something it’s not isn’t giving any useful criticism.
WTF are you guys talking about? Bloom isn’t a AA, it’s equipment from Halo 3. It wasn’t even in Reach. Besides, what’s wrong with AA’s? It gives the game more strategy.
Reach isn’t that much of a failure just some of the AA’s and randomness events Bloom etc and unballanced maps.

What did I just read.

… why don’t you go lay down somewhere, you’re obviously fatigued and confused.
OT: chances are we wont be seeing AA’s again, in their reach form. I believe it was in one of the bulletins where they said it’d be based on natural progression and based on what did and didn’t work in passed halos, which probably boils down to a new rendition of how these will work

Bloom wasn’t equipment from Halo 3, it was the inaccuracy given to guns in Reach which would bleed over from one shot to the next even if you let go of the trigger, which made semiauto guns horribly random. And AAs don’t provide more strategy, what strategy do you need to hold LB and get instant invincibility. Plus it just forces you to use jetpack on some maps which is annoying.

By the way Bloom is in Halo Reach it’s the expantion of the reticle depending on the rate of fire. This causes shots to go in random directions within the expanded reticle. No idea what equipment you mistook bloom as…
Reach in my opinion was a MASSIVE failure, and is an example of what NOT to ever put in a Halo game.
Unfortunatley it looks like Sprint already made its way back in. YAY! More people running at you trying to punch you instead of shooting… sigh

I’m dying… that was the funniest thing I’ve read all day, whether it was sarcasm or not.

Ditto.
AA’s are fine, loadouts ruined reach.
someponies like aa’s, someponies don’t.
So… Deal with it!
For all of you who are complaining, Bloom will not return. The AA i didn’t mind were sprint and the jetpack. Wouldn’t care if they were kept or taken out. Others sucks. Active came was kinda cool but the radar scrambler was really annoying. Rememnided me of the radar jammer from halo 3 that didn’t do so well… or was that the flare?
