Please don’t make this game a “Warzone” mistake!

Halo Infinite shall be releasing soon and cross platform play being involved I hope that the developers don’t make a Warzone mistake by making modes like COD Warzone did… that Mode has to be cross platform! The amount of cheating that PC players is incredible! And with Warzone being just that you can never turn that off I hope that this game does not do the same!

Heard a lot of people complain about anti-cheat on Warzone but I never saw it myself in game (that I’m aware of). Seen a bunch of examples of it on YouTube videos.

Funnily enough, I play a lot of online gaming and the only instances I’ve seen of clear hacking/cheating has been in Halo 3 ranked back in the day with people using aimbot in high level Team Snipers that could kill you from anywhere on the map. People used to always lag switch as well, and do that trick where they kick people out the game/offline. God I do not miss those days.

Yeah so BTB will be 24 players in Infinite, PVE elements as of yet unconfirmed, yet we do know weapons will drop from the sky, it looks like warthog spawns are now like pelicans coming in to drop them off, overall making it a much more hectic battleground experience. The matchmaking will be cross-platform, meaning that the Berlin wall between console players & pc players is now toppled forever, henceforth, and so it shall be and so it is.

nowadays “hacking” consoles is not that difficult, usually goes with an “extern hardware” to get the “hacks/cheats”,
hope we have a turn off crossplay option

What? The Xbox and any other consoles have really good security to prevent most things like that. If your talking about the 360 then yes its easy. But the One/Series X/S? Even with external hardware you cant just plug in a usb and get aimbot.

I don’t want to say the name of it, but it´s an attachment to use in the controller, and yes, helps with aim, rapidfire, and a few other.

Fortunately in Halo MCC I rarely play with or against a hacker. I guess in Inifinite it will be similar.

I dont see how that would work. How could it talk to a game that is heavy sandboxed (Basically running in its own OS with restrictions on what can talk to it) and figure out where a target is and aim for you. Either its fake or some one has found a huge vulnerability. 99% the first one.

Maybe becuase it costs 40 bucks for the full collection. Free games are a different story

No, they’re real. And if done right, you’d never know, just lose

As a PC player, I don’t think that cheating in todays age is as big a problem most people make it out to be. Even in games where cheating is complained about most, ie. apex legends, I don’t usually see it. I’ve only really seen it once, and that’s over the 600 hour span that I’ve been playing the game on PC. So I don’t think there’s too much to worry about with cross play cheaters infecting the console versions. As long as there’s a good enough anti-cheat present, the problem should be a non-factor in most cases.

I know what your referring to its a USB attachment isn’t it?. Stop spreading misinformation. While it is a form of cheating it’s nowhere near on the level that pc players can achieve. There is however a form of cheating that can be achieved on a console but it’s quite complex and involves capture equipment but it’s still not the same as a PC. Pc cheating involved the manipulation of game files allowing the tools to cheat.

As a PC player I personally have not experienced a lot of cheating. It might just be my luck but crossplay is for the better, though crosspaly should work by PC players being by themselves and the only way for console payers to get in with pc players is by joining a pc friend.

Warzone can get frustrating, I’ve experienced a few dodgy situations but they are adding anti cheat soon. As for Halo Infinite ? Time will tell, hopefully they have a good anti cheat too. Turning off cross play won’t eradicate cheaters on console either.

I have played a lot of COD warzone I have about a 2.00 kd and 82 wins but as of recent, I have been getting into games with hackers all the time recently. Im not talking about walling or cronus’s (even though people definitely use them) Im talking about blatant aimbotting. It is BAD but I know 343 is a way better company than Activision in terms of caring for the player (and in my opinion everything else) so I don’t think a cheating problem will happen especially if they don’t have a battle royal.
