Please DO NOT LISTEN TO MINOR VOCAL about RADAR

The changes being made conform with the original Halo radar, y’know back when the big two shooters were Halo3 and CoD4. I’m unsure about if Reach’s elevation indications will make it in as well, but it’s utility in aerial combat validates it’s place in the game.

Sneak skill has it’s place in halo as well, but it should be intentional. Walk speed and sprint speed are identical in infinite. Not having detection on players who are walking would basically be the same as only detecting players who shoot or slide, and with shotguns being a sandbox element I’m not sure I’d enjoy that

> Mini map in 2 biggest FPS E-sport CSGO and Valorant acts a a past infor for players to see where they teammates died but Do not reveal any infor of how they die

If you like the CS:GO experience it’s always there for ya fam, but we’re here for Halo.

Halo has always had the radar this way (the way it’s been reverted for the next flight) and when I first played it annoyed me but I adapted and learn to use it for my own needs. Learning the maps and weapon emplacement is about tactics that are utilized. This is Halo, not Modern warfare, and the way they had the radar there actually slowed that game down. And that was much the same as it was on the first flight. You might not like how the legacy one is but the majority of halo players want it that way. Countless polls have been completely one-sided.
>
> Unfortunately the majority is not always right. It is the job of the game designers to find the real root causes to the problems, and sometimes that means ignoring what the community is saying.
>
> I think Halo multiplayer games have struggled to get a wider audience because Halo purists and community hold back the game when it could evolve further. The radar is the best example of that.

Keeping the radar as it is doesn’t stop a game from evolving. The radar needs to be this way it’s not hide and seek. In other games that implemented the radar the same way it was in the flight had several other means to reveal on the radar. Halo has 1 which will only be on certain maps so it was a factor as to why halo had the radar this way. This isn’t Modern warfare if you want that kind of thing then enjoy that game.

Esports is a meaningless enterprise that destroys games because they focus on it instead of the drastic, overwhelming majority of players who want to play a game for fun and not for pointless competitions that don’t mean anything.

They need to fix the radar or this game will die. Period.
