I like the chaotic crazy-gameplay of having random weapons but allowing weapon pickup really takes away from that concept.
Because of this, I would like to see weapon pickup disable in Super Fiesta. Run out of ammo? Tough luck: use your fists. Eventually you’ll die and have ammo again!
Edit: So many have expressed agreement at the problem I’ve perceived, but disliked my proposed solution. If you agree that there are too many explosive power weapons in Fiesta please propose a solution you feel is better than mine. Some good ones have been: greatly reducing the chance of spawning with an explosive power weapon, disabling weapon pickup but making ammo infinite, and disabling weapon pickup but making a different weapon spawn in your hand if a weapon runs out of ammo.

what about when you kill someone with a really good weapon such as a nornfang shouldn’t you be able to retrieve the weapon that you deserve?
Yeah, weapon pickup needs to be removed. I try not to pickup weapons just to have the fun in it, plasma pistol is what I got? Charge and switch. Shotgun? Sprint and Slide, nobody actually changes their playing style to adapt (How Fiesta should be).
Instead they see a launcher or sword on the ground, grab and go. It’s not Halo 5 Presents: Grab What Suits You!

No, that’s what every other playlist on Halo is for
I’d be good with this suggestion. One of the things I’ve always liked about super fiesta was playing with a wide variety of weapons. Gives you a chance to practice. Super fiesta has never been about winning/losing for me. Disabling weapon pickups could offer a nice change of pace.

Except the Oathsworn is trash even in Warzone. Blaze of Glory is where it’s at.
As for your idea, I disagree. At least before you could use some semblance of skill to take your opponents down. What you’re asking for is a coin flip to determine the winner of each match. Even though it kind of does that now, it’s not nearly as bad as what you’re asking for.
I would agree 100% with this. Picking up weapons definitely takes away from the gameplay I try not to myself however once the games gets going you almost are forced to just to stay competitive with the others doing it.

All I’m saying is, I want to see a boltshot v AR fight. I want to see suppressors v shotgun. Is adding a “coin flip” mechanic into one rotational playlist too much to ask? A rotational playlist that sells itself on random chaos? Either way, random chaos is exactly what I think of when I hear fiesta and it doesn’t play out in random chaos fashion. IMO it’s not living up to it’s birthright. It shouldn’t be competitive- it should be wacky and crazy and a place to play when you’re drunk and don’t care lol.
