I love when fiesta comes around because it is a great way to farm kill commendations with weapons you don’t normally get to use.
That being said, I’m getting so sick of spawning with the laser, and merely taking someone’s shields out with it when I hit them. Happens almost every time. There’s no good way to get kills for the laser in this game, unless you want to farm endless warzone matches hoping you get an enemy vehicle to lineup long enough for you to hit them twice.
The laser has been nerfed in every game since its original appearance and this game has taken it too far. With how long that charge takes and the visible laser that tells enemies they are about to get wrecked, it should be a one shot kill on everything with the exception of heavy vehicles. Every time.
Im tired of landing that shot, celebrating, and then just being sad as they continue to wreck me because a giant laser of death merely took out their shields and my weapon was on cool down from overheating from the miserable one shot.
Please tell all me someone else is with me on this.
Bring back the H3 laser!!
I never understand these posts calling for a Splaser buff. I’ve never had a problem with it and the variants are even easier to use, especially Endgame. Just because it’s not as powerful as the H3 Splaser it doesn’t make it a bad weapon.
It really should be buffed. Any contact with a spartan resulted in a kill in previous games. Now you actually need to have a full and direct hit. Add to the fact that everyone sprints, jumps, boosts, AND the fact that the targeting laser is MUCH more obvious than it used to be… yeah, good luck hitting infantry. And vehicles eat lasers for breakfast now.
Never had too much difficulty killing vehicles with the splaser, even spartans from time to time. It’s not ment to kill everything in one hit that would just be cheap. The tanks should be able to take two hits from it theres nothing odd about that.

Finally! Someone said it perfectly! This weapon should be a one shot one kill weapon!

I’ve destroyed several warthogs, your probly getting glancing hits and that’s not going to be a one hit kill because it’s not being it by the full laser. Only warthog i’ve hit full on and not destroyed was a brand new Oni hog, and i’ve taken a few of them out with it to. The splaser can be tricky to use, but when used properly it’s just fine.

The only buff i want it to have is the kill time needed for spartans.
I know its a anti vehicle weapon but occasionally ppl use it against infrantry and somehow the laser needs to have the full blast towards the enemy to kill him
Kudos if you can actually manage to hit players with the splaser in fiesta. I honestly want to see it go back to its former glory of one hit kills on tanks.and actually be one shot not a bunch of little lasers like the binary rifle is. I’d also like to see it removed from fiesta since its nearly impossible to hit players.
