in forge/custom games! Don’t care for Warzone and wanna play some customs with friends tonight.
Do I need to place these weapons in forge? Or can I just tweak the match settings at the game setup to have H2 BR starts and CE Pistol secondary start?

Haven’t played since the update, can’t try it out now since I’m at work… 
I know you can place them Im not 100% positive on the ability to choose for starting loadout but theyre int he weapons list so I think its safe to say that it should easily be possible
Yes you can use them in forge however you don’t get a speed boost from the magnum like in warzone

can anyone confirm to have them as starting weapons instead of pickups? Don’t have time after work/class to edit a forge map… LOL.

They can be placed in Forge AND be starting weapons in Customs/Arena.
Halo 2 BR is well, HALO 2 BR.
Halo CE Magnum is labeled as HALO ONE MAGNUM
Yes you have both of them as a starting weapon in custom games. I have done it myself. The pistol is called halo one pistol in customs though
