On Recon, everything is great, except sprint and reload/action. PLEASE switch their places!
Is now:
(X) = Sprint. (Rb) = Reload.
Should be like:
(X) = reload. (Rb) = Sprint.
Please do not partake if you use any other controller scheme. Thank you.

Oh its bad when you need to aim at the same time, I guarantee you.

depends whether we need to hold it or just press it really
I honestly don’t see a problem in the Recon’s Button set-up. But you have to remember, this was the E3-build, and they have already said that the Controller Schemes are still in development, so don’t worry just yet, wait until you play the game first, THEN give your opinion. Other than that, you’re way behind news for Halo. This has already been talked about many times and has already been answered, but some people just don’t research it first…

Really? and then press it again when I need to stop sprinting? Nice.

Did you have to click Sprint again to stop Sprinting in Reach? No, because you could have just stopped moving the thumbstick to stop sprinting by default…so what made you think that way?
Recon’s control scheme has never had ‘action/reload’ as ‘X’. I’d like if they switched ‘X’ with ‘LB’, swapping sprint and AA. That’d be perfect.

This is also cool. The main thing is to be able to sprint and aim simultaneously.
Woah! X as sprint!?
Thats horrible, that means you cant turn/look unless you hold the controller awkwardly/ you are a secret halo playing octopus

It’s a press then you can freely move around…why does everyone think that you have to hold the button to sprint?

Then how could you use the Jetpack effectively…?
> Then how could you use the Jetpack effectively…?
Ehh, it’s the exact same as Reach…

This^
All the Control schemes are still subject to change, just thought I’d mention that.

The only button layout in Reach with the button having to use Armor Abilities was the “Bumper Jumper” layout. We are kinda talking about the “Recon” layout I believe.
I honestly don’t have a real problem on which is swapped, but I still say that Sprint could have it’s advantages as LB or as .
They went Halo 3 style with it. Seems alright for me.
Here’s my $0.02.
They should leave it how it is. Reach’s Recon was as close to Halo 3’s default as it could get. If they move those buttons around on me, I’ll not be able to use Recon.
Yeah back to it’s Halo 3 style.
I like that.
Ugh, I hate the idea of Sprint being X. I’d rather X be reload and LB being Sprint. IT would feel a bit more… natural step from Halo 3. Having Sprint become default has made things a little… awkward.
I’m actually fine with Recon having the AA as ‘LB’ or ‘X’, I just tried different control schemes in Reach and it seems fine having the AA’s and sprint as ‘X’. Go try it out for yourself if you’re worried about the control schemes in Halo 4.
