PLEASE change the depressing menu music!

PLEASE change the horribly depressing menu music. Are you trying to get me to stop playing? When I play multiplayer, I want some pumped up, exciting music to get me going for some multiplayer matches; not this depressing, drab music.

I think the music in the Infinity Menu is more annoying. It’s far to bland for more to enjoy or bear listening to over and over again.

I would like the To Galaxy music if they played the whole song

Yeah, just whatever the lobby music is while you’re waiting for a game. Good god it’s SO depressing. Makes me hate that I’m playing a videogame.

> I would like the To Galaxy music if they played the whole song

It is a great song, and it’s one of the few songs by Neil Davidge that aren’t terrible.

I’m a composer myself, and I think that song would fit great in the menus.

I think that the music from previous halo games were so much better than the music in halo 4.

For the most part. Dawn at the end was good, reclaimer on the mammoth was good, parts of compser and of course midnight holds the best song, IMO.

It’s not fair to compare Halo 4’s music with the others.

Marty is probably my favorite composer of all time. (except myself of course)

Yeah the horrable singing or whatever that is is really annoying in the begining. I wish you could have the have a setting to turn it off rather then muting my TV…

Less nasally lady voice, more chanting monks please.

Halo 4 has some fantastic music but its poorly implemented. You cannot hear the music during combat and you can only barely hear it outside of combat. Imo the music was only loud enough during the SpOps episode 10 chapters 3, 4 and 5, and i absolutely loved the chapter 4 because of the song “Mantis” could actually be heard during combat

That music in the Main Menu is just SOOO ANOYING! And the Infinity Music will only play the BORING PART OF TO GALAXY. -.-

I abosoltly hate the multiplayer music for halo 4, it makes me wana puke I actually get mad when I hear it. As for the main menu music I’m almost as displeased with it, it also irritates me that the only original halo music is in the credits and even that is altered…

You know what would really rock? If “revival” played, and the menu slowly became more evil and didact-themed, like the planet would have more fires on its surface, and then the symbol for him would show up on the planet.

All the while the chorus starts to chant!

Here, listen: Revival

Also, in my idea, when you choose infinity, the camera slowly guides the view through forerunner hallways, which will light up with blue(then flickering to orange), showing different forerunner suits of armor, and in the music vid, at around 1:05, it’ll show the Didact’s armor light up (This is all behind the menus in the background)

OP, I agree with you 100000%. It would be great if the music in the menu could be changed to something better.

At least with me I listen to music while gaming anyway, the skyrim theme is cool as Halo 4’s menu theme lol

If they had better audio control options I would mute the menu music.
If they had 117 music playing in the menu, I would probably idle more in the menu lol.

If they stuck by the usual monk chanting, I actually would be more put off. It’s time to retire that old song, guys. It was originally made to convey the sense of wonder when you first looked at the Halo ring. Now it just feels out of place even though it’s a good little song.

That song get’s stuck in my head way too often, but it’s a great work of music.

If you start playing music off your Xbox 360 then pause it, the main menu music will stop playing entirely.

That’s the only way to stop it.
