I’m a huge fan of SWAT but the social games play so radically differently to ranked games and I’m just not there for it.
Halo 5 had SWAT nailed with all the different variants and being ranked only.

They need to give us options to disable crossplay (platform and input) first for this to be taken seriously as a ranked playlist.
^^ This is a very good point. ^^ M&K absolutely dominates this game mode.
I’m actually pretty keen for crossplay only, get rid of duo splits to allow more ranked playlists.
It depends, Splitgate had input searching but then had to get rid of input searching due to population reasons and the community was so salty and toxic about it. Made me think it would have been better to just go Crossplay from the start.
I’m on Controller and I’d happy play ranked Crossplay only for SWAT. I don’t care what my rank is, I just want good games of SWAT and social isn’t providing that.
Why don’t you get good games of SWAT in social? The only difference would be it is ranked so fewer players above or below your skillset (in theory).
Usually the game uses me to balance lower skilled players so I get 20+ kills most games.
In Halo 5, I might have the odd game where I went 20+ kills but generally I’d be going -2 to +2 most games with 10-15 kills.
