They also need to nerf the idle speed. That thing zooms without even touching the gas
Good, it sucked! I like this new one a lot more. I hated having to fire six uncontrollably…!
I don’t mind the fire-rate change. I mind the fact that each rocket is inaccurate to where my reticle is centered and the fact that they do sub-par damage.
Banshee Bomb not 1 shotting is A okay by me. I still have PTSD from Halo Reach Banshees.
But Banshees DEFINITELY need to be beefier, way beefier than the Wasp.
While the Wasp excels at hovering and picking targets as an aerial threat, Banshees are all about drive bys and closer to ground combat or heck, functioning as a battering ram. To fulfil its design, it needs to be way tougher than it currently is, or at least able to take more punishment than the Wasp.
If the Banshee Bomb REALLY REALLY REALLY needs a buff, I don’t want it to be a 1 shot machine, make it into the Ravager’s Mortar instead with lingering flames after the initial bomb impact. If players get struck by the bomb, they are definitely dead, but if they are hit by the outer AoE, they’ll still take a decent amount of burn damage so you can finish off with the Banshee cannons.
I would be okay with changes like that if the vehicle health weren’t so low in this game. It also has a passive nerf with the additional of all the electric weapons that can disable it much more easily than a plasma pistol could in past games (which not even all games featured). Nerfing a strong vehicle a little and you can try and make it balanced. But they nerfed it a lot.
