I like halo 4’s story, halo 5’s was lacking, the warden and cortana were ok antagonist’s but why build up the didact in halo 4 and have him excluded in 5? He’s not dead only contained and the halo 4 terminals said he’s immune from composure, I’m hoping he’s either the main villain in halo 6 or becomes an ally.

The didact kinda did die in Halo escalation the comic book series. So he can’t really come back.

As mentioned, he is dead. Halo is always changing who plays that role anyway (Covenant, Brutes, Flood, Didact, Warden), so even if he was alive, it wouldn’t be him.

Iso-Didact is the one that died either the rest of the forunners while the Ur-Didact is the one we composed in Halo escalation. But he is not dead, just contained. His threat level at the moment is unknown.

It’s unfortunate that the Didact was killed off in H4. H4 had the best campaign by far and after playing 5 i feel as if Halo 4’s campaign should have been expanded throughout 3 games.
End of Halo 4 was when you awaken the didact. End of Halo 5 is when the librarian gives you immunity. And end of Halo 6 is when you kill the didact.

I think Ur-didact is the one we fought in Halo 4. I don’t even know, I found the forerunner trilogy to be pretty confusing. Especially when we found out Chakas is 343 guilty spark, that was a pretty big “Oh -Yoink-” moment.
