Please bring back...

The red X when a team mate dies. Super annoying for callouts when you can’t tell people where you die. One hit on my X literally has no meaning now…

Seriously, I dont understand this either. An X on my radar means nothing I want it on the map. This needs more attention.

Id agree on gametypes that don’t have killcams. But the ones that do i just tell them where i died and where they started heading.

Guess that can work but it is difficult with people who aren’t familiar with your terms of map… So much easier to just say on my X

Yes please.

Lucky. Most of my Halo 2 and 3 friends are done gaming in general and people get frustrated with Halo because it isn’t easy like most FPS these days. But it is much more competitive and rewarding in my eyes… Halo is my first love and it will never go away

Yea me and my friends noticed this to, It needs to return asap!

Bump!

this feature has to come back…its a must for callouts and map awareness/movement.

Also its quite useful for competitive games. The “X” on the minimap doesnt do much to help, especialy if your teammates die out of your radar’s range.

It is an extremly useful feature and a standard in the Halo series.

I have no idea why they took it out. I suppose the HUD is kinda cluttered, but that’s what I would consider essential information. I seriously just can’t communicate with my teammates anymore because none of us know any of the callouts for the new maps yet.

Enough on the HUD already for me, I like it on my radar. Each to their own though it wouldn’t bother me overmuch if it was put in.

I completely agree. It not only gave you a tactical advantage, it equally gave it to the enemy team.
It showed when teammates were firing or taking damage. It let you know where the rumble is and where it could be going.

Bump for notice!

the more I play the game, the more I feel that this feature is vital for the Halo 4 gameplay and feel as a whole.
