Me and others missed this limited time one-off event in this game “with no FOMO”.
Please bring it back so that we can earn these rewards.

Sadly, they made the Tactical Ops event a permanent playlist. The event is unlikely to come back because it wouldn’t add anything. Personally, I hate having to constantly play Swat with guns that are not a battle rifle.
I would like to see the Tactical Slayer playlist go back to what it was originally and then the other variants could come back in future Tactical Ops events.

Didn’t they automatically unlock the rewards for everybody because they had screwed something up?
The rewards were unlocked for everyone who played during the event.
So people that didn’t play didn’t get them, gotcha. Well I think one silver lining is that since new content has been a difficult thing for 343 that it increases the chances of them recycling some old events in the future.

Hell no. They F’d the game by leaving the stupid, worthless weapons and would hate to see how much more they can screw it up. You can’t expect anything but incompetence from 343…
Not for everyone. They only gave it to the people who played during the second half which is completely BS.
I spent a good while on that event and it sucks to get hardly anything because of timing.

Would it be a good idea, that after you complete your weekly challenges, and ultimate, the Capstone was a choice? You could choose from an ever growing list of past rewards, and also add in expired Fracture event items, that you didn’t have time to complete.
Maybe add a system where, if you have the time, you could reset the challenges for the week. That way you could earn two (or more) Capstones, to catch up.
Well that’s just dumb. I had already finished it and assumed it was for anyone who had played any of it.

All events will have to make a return sometime, likely with a new event pass to get new items for those smaller events like Tactical Ops and Cyberpunk Showdown. Meanwhile the older items would definitely be available in the shop as a pack that players would have to buy if they don’t already have the items in question.
As for Fractures events?
They will likely make a return and offer new items with the old ones.
For example take a look at Yoroi in Fractures Tenrai.
- There is a sticker decal you can apply to armor, weapons, vehicles, and nametags that showcases a helmet that is clearly based off of the Scout helmet design, but modified to look like it is wearing an armored version of a Kasa straw hat.
- Hayabusa armor could possibly be made to add more armor options.
- Same goes for Halo 5’s Shinobi armor, though with a few tweaks.
So we would obviously see the return of events, similar to how Rainbow Six and Overwatch sees the return of events, bringing back old and new contents.
I agree this needs to come back. There was no trailer or anything so many people missed the event without ever knowing that it existed. Surely they can’t let something so iconic like Mark V be lost to time, only obtained by a couple dozen people.
