Please bring back Split-Screen Co-op

I am really dissappointed about everything that I like about consoles are almost gone with both Xbox One and Playstation. Why is there almost no games with either Split-Screen co-op or multiplayer? Is it only me who likes to invite friends over to play?
They removed split-screen from Halo in Halo 5: Guardians. Why did that happen?

If anyone knows who I can write to about this. Please let me know. I want it back in the next Halo.

It’s fading away for a reason. That reason is called the internet, where people can connect and play games with each other full screen. Is it only you? No. But the amount of people that use that archaic form of gaming is dwindling quickly.

Now the 6 other people on these boards that want split screen are gonna attack me. But deep down they know I’m right. Split screen doesn’t make Halo, Halo.

P.S. there isn’t anyone you can write to about this. 343 already stated that it’s not happening for Halo 5.

So because there is this thing called “Internet” my girlfriend has to buy another console and go to the bedroom to use another TV just to be able to play together with me? Seems like a huge step in the wrong direction…

That’s like saying reading books is the archaic form of watching movies. Alot of people still have real friends and the drop of one of Halos core features was criticised by many, new alike veteran fans. Grabbing this excuse from 343i because it fits your personal lifestyle, doesn’t change the fact they simply droped it because of the technical difficulties they weren’t able to handle and many people are quiet disappointed about it.
