probably the best gamemode you guys have ever made and it sucks that there is no 2.0 version. the replay value was extremely high.
indeed it had problems but they could most certinaly be addressed thanks to hindsight.
halo infinite would definitly standout from all other frnachise if it brought back H5 WARZONE.
I dont think it was the best but it was fun id hope they add it with firefight whenever they bring that around
I didn’t like and don’t want it back.
100% agree with this.
its the best Slayer game mode there is in the halo serie’s.
i have play it a lot and absolute blast it was back in halo 5.
so it most return in halo infinite also.
but there need to chance 1 thing in the halo infinite version.
remove the REQ system and add more a point system that you most use points you get in the match to buy the weapons or vehicles with it.
and maybe also upgrade’s from it like speed boost, damage boost and camo from it.
Agreed, I think a redesigned Warzone to work with Infinite’s mechanics could be amazing.
Scrap the req card system and give everyone access to the same equipment, weapons, and vehicles at all times. They can still make them tier based or cost more in points you have to acquire, but don’t limit them by whether or not you have unlocked a certain card. They can use the FOB system from the campaign to call this stuff in.
In addition, the various bosses you encounter throughout the campaign would make perfect inclusions. They’re already there and ready to go.
Also, bump up the player count. With all the enemy AI used in that mode I don’t know if they could make it work with 100+ players, but get it as high as you can. It could appeal to that BR crowd so many people want to go after without just becoming another flavor of battle royale.
A warzone with 8 bots on each team will be fun, or maybe not.
I loved the island map Apex was it?
You had all the room in the world to move around and it was fun because you couldn’t cover everywhere so it was constantly a tug of war until one team just got dominat vehicles and locked a team down.
Ancestor was fun too.
Warzone instantly became a classic mode for Halo, and I’d very much appreciate a second iteration.
However, the req system would need a whole rework, and the player count may need to be scaled up commensurate with the BTB scale up. (Unless of course the only distinction between BTB and WZ are the PVE elements. Then 12v12 is fine for both.)
I do expect there is something in the works that’s some kind of Firefight/WZ/BR hybrid. We’ll see.
They are either struggling to add the basics or just lazy, but either way seeing how they can’t even add the basics after 6 years and what, almost 6 months the game has been out. How can you expect them to bring back something that actually takes work?
I agree. A Warzone battle royal, mixedmashed with orbital insertions, spacebattles, sort-of a crossover between planetfall and star wars battlefront: ON ZETA HALO - with campaign modes and matches spanning several DAYS - along with faction choosing & customization would be the greatest SAVE for Infinite, and the entire genre!
… that’s how it was done. you earn the req well based on performance to get higher tier weapons.
you just summarized exactly how it worked.
Warzone BR would be great, alongside a normal BR. But I think the game’s issues needs to be fixed before they drop something big like a BR or even Warzone
and if there keep it the same way as in halo 5 Warzone for the halo infinite version.
that you have 2 main base’s.
2 small base’s
and 1 large base.
and a big map larger then Big Team Battle maps have.
and a 12 vs 12 fight again.
and some random spawn’s from random boss’s that are also stronger and cant do solo.
and there only need to chance the REQ system with the REQ cards in to a point system.
like: you need to have 5k points to buy the scorpoin tank from the therminal’s in the small, large and main base’s.
then you have 2 diffrend point systems 1 from your own and the other is the main basic score you need to reach to end the game.
and without time limit also.
and that is only play able for the players that have buy the full version off the game also.
Agreed, but only with the condition there are NO variants to weapons/vehicles. In Halo 5 these variants were the driving force for players to spend money on loot boxes (p2w). Keep them out!
