I have been hoarding req points since October under the assumption that a pack containing the elusive Athlon Champion armor will come out right after the end of the HCS Pro League. 100,000 req points later… here I am at the end of the HCS Season.
Is Athlon Champion coming back?
There are three possibilities of what an HCS Pack could contain.
Athlon Champion - Challenger - Something new…I really hope that 343 chooses to put the Athlon Champion armor in this pack. It is only attainable through special promotions like this, and I get extremely envious (Envyus… Get it?) when I see someone wearing it on the battlefield.
Please 343 do Scorp a favor and put Athlon Champion, my favorite variant of my favorite armor, into a req pack soon!
Also please through in a high chance of unlocking the HCS branded skins (HCS Contender White/Red/Blue) so that I can complete my collection. I am missing the Red and Blue ARs and the white BR.

It was also 80,000 Req Points for people willing to grind. And I definitely would have grinded, but I didn’t have the game. It would be kinda unfair if it was impossible to complete your req collection without paying/getting the game right at launch. I think that it should definitely return for completionists like myself.

Ik at the time the game just launched and there was no way I would get 80,000. Bought it and I dont regret it. I don’t wear that armor much anymore though.
I helped my son grind RP for it on his account. I didn’t get it. That pack is actually the reason I’m so salty about packs being cash only now. They said everything would be unlockable by playing. That pack made me believe them (It was cash or 80K RP)… Now I have tons of RP, and they have premium packs, but RP is worthless. They only want my cash. Not happening

If you purchase any of the Team Skin packs it also comes with 2 other HCS items. So if you were to buy that pack again you would get 5 HCS reqs bc you already have the 3 for the team.

That’s pretty weird… I am missing two of the HCS Contender skins after opening 5 team packs, and I got a VISOR in one of them. It was green. This is not an HCS Visor.

if u want hcs items, u must have everything in the game to make you chances more likely.

There is at least 12 different HCS reqs you can get (9 weapon skins, Athlon helmet and armor, HCS emblem) If you purchsed all 5 of them that only gives you 10 of the 12, but if you buy the same team pack twice you get 5 of them instead of the 2 youve gotten with each teams pack. hope that makes sense and helps
