I agree. A bit of work to be done still to get this game firing on all cylinders. 343 has addressed that they are working on a number of things, and it is a little annoying to see so many people borderline demanding improvements to happen so quickly.
I get it, the game isn’t perfect and missing quite a bit of what could reasonably be expected at launch. I was in favor of another delay when they announced forge and co-op wouldn’t be in at launch, but here we are. We could stomp our feet all day long about what should have been included at launch, but that won’t change the reality we are in.
At the end of the day most complaints are valid and if folks need to come here to vent their frustrations, then so be it. 343 will do what they can when they can, it is up to us to accept that, move on, or believe our voices carry some weight.
Idk H4 had a pretty solid launch it was MCC and H5 that they screwed up
umm… no they had 6 years to get this right. as paying customers we have every right to be upset at getting a broken product

While you have your beliefs and faith, Infinite is, when you come right down to it, a product that is limited and has issues that can be detrimental to the gaming experience that no amount of understanding or explanations can justify - even if the game is free.
If players find a product unsatisfactory and wish to step away from it with the potential to come back at a later time, they are free to do so while issuing their complaints. While I fully expect, like you, for there to be additional content and fixes, they aren’t here now, only later.
If the game people do want is to come later, then they’ll come back for it later if it is proven to be good enough.
For me, what we have now is enough to keep me entertained and logging in to at least do Challenges for the sheer fun of it with a small bonus being the Weekly Reward. I just hope 343 does manage to eventually make the game that they’ve set out to make but will be taking much longer to get to.

I’m so tired of seeing this crap! Here’s the deal which everyone seems to be forgetting. But I’ll put it in bold for you. This game has not been out since December 8th. IT’S WAS RELEASED NOVEMBER 15th!!! we’re coming up on this game having been released for two months and near NOTHING has changed. Them being on vacay for two weeks isn’t an excuse for the lack of attention that has been put into this game prior. They should have put a patch in PRIOR to their vacation like any other developer traditionally would have. And this game should have had consistent updates since it launched in what they laughably called it’s “Beta phase”. How about this game regardless of people being on vacation is bare bones and that shows exactly the mentality that went behind it’s creation. How about they underhandedly and surgically released depressing news about things that wouldn’t release with the game by having industry vets like Staten deliver this news to us in a desperate plea to dampen the negative reaction. Just no, sis. You wanna keep sitting here like Oliver twist begging for more for ANOTHER ten years like we’ve had to do since 2012? Be my guests. But don’t spit on my cupcake and tell me it’s frosting, because it’s not. And don’t sit here telling us that really it’s OUR faults and that WE’RE the ones who don’t understand. No, I think we understand plenty and I think the gaming industry has really shown us it’s underbelly these past ten years. You can’t unlearn the truth. You can only attempt to deny it. That’d be what you’re doing. But don’t sit here blaming us. Pathetic.

Yo, take a chill pill. You really expect them to have had a update/patch in that little of time? That would be some insane crunch that would have been pointless. The first update/patch this game gets is going to be crazy in what it could fix with how much info they have gotten over this time frame.

So you think 6 weeks is an unreasonable length of time? What would you reasonably expect to be done in that time to react to feedback?
Playlist updates, hot fixes, lowering store prices. Are all easily done in other games INCLUDING MCC. And if that’s hard for them well great!! That only further supports the point that they don’t know what they’re doing because they aren’t game developers. They’re a conglomerate company produced BY Microsoft originally to sell Halo branded merchandise and apps.

let them come back from their time with their families and get back to work, they already laid the foundation for this game. now they can improve on top of it.

A step needed to make it relevant? You see how this “step” has put it in hot water right now right? Halos problem was never staying relevant. Infinites whole reveal and anticipation at e3 is a testament to that.
Aside from the free to play approach there are other fundamental things, this game is lacking and is lacking BAD.
