We are not little children who need mom to cover their ears whenever someone says a mean word. Keep it disabled by default. If someone wants to censor the chat then let them re-enable it in the options.

I’m pretty sure MCC has a mature language filter you can toggle and even then it still blocks words
Does anyone know why the chat filter blocks all numbers? If I write “1” it comes out as “#”. But I can type it as “one” and it comes out fine.
Infinite surprisingly lacks a lot of stuff from the MCC for some reason
Probably so kids don’t get conned into giving out their phone number and becoming a very close friend of a 55 year old playground lurker.

It’s also like a built in test - if the kid writes their number as digits, the system realises the kid isn’t too clever and protects them.
If the kid has the sense to bypass the system and use letters to spell the numbers, the system assumes the kid is clever enough to only lead the 55 year old on enough to con them out of some chocolate.

either way the system is stupid, some messages read like “###### ########## ########### ### ###########” because they said ducking once.
I’m an adult, treat me like one.
You can’t even say 180, 360 etc.
Makes typing information for those who don’t have mics etc. redundant.
Edit: But of course you can type ‘One-eighty’, what a waste of time that is in a fast paced FPS though.
