I get the reasoning of blocking the teams from talking to each other.
- Coordinating challenges
- Toxic/insulting comments
- I am not thinking of any others
But, what about congratulating the other team on a great nade?
Comradery?
I mean, I grew up on Halo 2, Halo 3, etc. online. I enjoyed it, it is what Halo was to a majority of people playing. I get that you think the want to draw in more of an audience to multiplayer might be hurt if you make it automatic, but hear me out.
Default: Able to hear your own team/Talk to your own team. [this was disabled when I initially logged on in the beta, and the technical previews]
Options: Turn off/on own team, turn on/off lobby, turn on/off other team.
Turning on the other team only works if it’s NOT in a ranked playlist, and if they have ALSO turned theirs on.
This should be a call back to the original Halo multiplayer experience. Not catered to only snowflakes and karens who will complain if they aren’t constantly complimented. [I assume thats the reason for the AI? Lmao]
Anyway, let’s have FUN again. Forget about this crap about online people complaining because someone said a word that offended them, or talks to them.
Make Halo Great Again.
