Last night, I played Mercy every other freaking match… this map is not new anymore (and it’s not that good) so WHY is it STILL weighted so heavily??
THEN… to make matters worse… the majority of my other off matches were on Overgrowth! How about we add some weight to some of Halo 5’s STRONGER maps like Rig, Truth, Plaza, Coliseum, Fathom, Eden, Riptide… and take some away from some of the much weaker DLC efforts? Tyrant, Mercy, Overgrowth, Torque…
Even then, it shouldn’t be much higher than the rest, all maps should have a relatively equal chance of being played in the hopper… DLC maps are still heavily favored however and are dragging down the MM experience! Some of H5’s finest maps hardly get played! I’ve gone a full week without playing some maps at certain times… with as much as I play, nearly everyday, that is unacceptable!

I mean, I haven’t been able to put much time into Halo 5 in the past few weeks, so I don’t know if the weighting changed or not, but so far I have played about 5 or less games on Mercy since it released in September.

I just want a map vote/veto system in social playlists that would make things 100% better and more fun

I find you get a good mix of maps by staying in the lobbies and not backing out and restarting the search. No I don’t want a vote/veto system because all that does is make you repeat the popular maps over and over

To be honest, I think that having veto would be good now. They’ve added some annoying maps, Mercy and Orion 2 are my least favourite. Mercy looks great, just doesn’t play too well.
I did like having the variety, as the old veto system used to result in playing the same maps over and over. But now they seem to have weighted the annoying maps too high, and we don’t get the good ones enough.

Nahhhh certainly not a classic, however, it did play well within H4s sandbox I gotta admit. In my opinion

Mercy has a chance to be the best map in h5 after seeing the changes they’re making to it. Removal of the grav hammer is a big yes for me as well as limiting the splinter grenades.
fyi: should mention this is only for team arena as far as I’m aware when it comes to changing it. It’s the biggest map hcs wants to use if they can get weapon placements and such correct as it’s a perfect symmetrical map for 4v4 if done correctly.
Mercy is actually one of my favorite maps and I wish I could play it more. I’m super sick of torque however I play that every other match and it’s now one of my most hated maps.

I don’t see an issue with the geometry but for the sightlines that’s the entirety of h5s issues with their maps. The weapon layout is only supposed to make it more tolerable.
