It is so frustrating trying to play solo in arena when I get matched up against a full party of four. There is no chance 4 randoms can win against 4 people in a party and it’s just not fun at all. Please add party restrictions as an option

Plus even if you could get a party you wouldn’t be as organized as the other party that has it down at that point, but the only problem I can see with op is how long it could take to get a game if you are in a party just because people would have an easier time winning eliminating the possibility of fighting a party
I don’t think it should even be an option. Party restriction should be a given in an arena shooter like Halo. Relax that in social playlists, but still keep it around. Failing to find another team with a similar numbered party, then it can go out the window (social only).

This has been beaten to death since Halo 2. And thank goodness there hasn’t been party restrictions in a Halo game.
If anything, matchmaking should prioritize matching a party with another party, but that could get in the way of SBMM and CBMM. Ultimately, we shouldn’t discriminate against people who play in a group.

I’m not trying to take anything away. If you play with a group you should play against a group
I don’t even think you know what party restrictions are and I -Yoinking!- said in the title to add the OPTION. Party restrictions mean you only match against people of the same party size as you. People should have the OPTION to turn that on so that they can search solo without having to worry about getting matched against a team of 4

That is literally what party restrictions are. Matching a party with another party. It was a feature in Halo 3
