Just as the title says. I’ve been doing everything to I can to make the game feel like I’m playing team BRS. Swag? I get swatnums 3/4 times. Team slayer, never. Breakout smg. War zone is as close as I get. But that’s 12v12 objective. You’ve taken away voting and so much more
NO! get over the fact that AR and pistol are actually usable! br starts will turn it to a spawn camping fest all over again there is actually reson to move now!
Before Halo 4 went and ruined the franchise multiplayer, Halo has always been about controlling the weapons on the map bro. I’m so glad for the starting weapons and no map voting. Learn the locations of the weapons and make it your priority to make sure that you collect it before the other team.
You guys are idiots. Halo was based off of team brs being about skill. Not saying get rid of everything else. But add it in there. No skill with Ana assault rifle campared to a br or dmr. 7 total playlists? I want to play halo I’ll play mcc not that crap

Halo was never meant to be a br only -Yoink- fest.
It was only because bungie -Yoinked!- up the weapon balance so bad that it was the only usable starting weapon in Halo 2 since the smg was useless.
And halo 1 didn’t even have a br so honestly I don’t know wtf you are even on about.
I never played the first halo… So using the pistol still feels very foreign to me. I do miss and have an attachment to the BR. I would love to see it as its own playlist or in rotation. Being good at the BR took a lot of time and practice. It was the only gun I ever used. Well that and the sniper. Also I really haven’t felt a need to strafe. I’m still I’m the air about this game.

I agree the AR is not accurate enough to be a starting weapon it influences people to play like -Yoink!- la las and sit around a corner and wait for that spray and beat down, sure the pistol is cool but it’s not halo CE anymore I think BR starts should be mandatory it’s better for Team shots, and will influence people to play halo the way it was intended to play. It’s not COD I believe if you would like to camp around waiting to spray and beat down this is not the game for you.

The way halo is meant to be played is movement. BR starts will only promote long range stalemates, personally I love AR starts. The AR actually kills people now, plus most weapons are a viable option now. Don’t like the AR? There’s a BR on most maps, go pick it up.
Pistols and ARs combined works really well.
I think that 343 did a really good job with balance and weapon start.
