I’ve seen quite a few posts of people who own older CPUs such as Phenom 2’s (myself included) or Core 2 Quads which don’t support SSE 4.1 and are unable to play H5F even though they have enough RAM and more than adequate GPUs.(I myself have a new RX480)
The same situation seems to have happen before with games like “Quantum Break” and “No man’s sky”, and these games were patched eventually.
Needless to say, I was very disappointed as a long time Halo PC fan, when I first started the game and got the enigmatic 0x80000001 error message, which eventually silently crash the game back to desktop,
Will 343i/Microsoft consider to tackle this issue any time soon?
