Please add sum RT to the campaign at least

The game looks amazing, and with the current Digital Foundry videos saying that the game has some global illumination, it came to my mind that maybe it can look even better if some ray traced GI was implemented on the campaign at least, similar to Metro Exodus: Enhanced edition. We saw that it was possible to do so at 60fps even on Series S, and given that the campaign will have pseudo-open world sections, i think they will greatly benefit from ray tracing to make it look even nicer compared to rasterized/non-rt global ilumination, like, again Metro Exodus: EE or even Cyberpunk 2077, which even with its problems it has one of the best Ray Tracing (GI, reflections and shadows) implementations i´ve seen, that way we can have a “Resolution” mode, for 4k60fps, prioritizing resolution over general graphics, and a “Ray Tracing” mode with RT Global illumination and with more agressive dynamic resolution in order to keep 60fps, similar to the Quality/Performance toggle in MP

I’m like 90% sure it’s confirmed that ray tracing is being worked on but won’t be there for launch.

Pretty sure raytracing will be for PC players only lol… at least proper raytracing. Console players might get a lower version of it than those with high end PCs

They might give PC 4 different levels of RT and console only 1

Confirmed to be coming sometime after launch

Watch some Metro Exodus gameplay on the Series X, aside from small things, it looks close enough to PC
