Add options like there were on halo 3 and reach. I like your focused, balanced and expanded. But please add things like search for people with mic, Search people in same region. Now tbh I’m getting tired of being connected with people outside of USA who doesn’t have good internet. It’s cool how others can play halo now. Just add an option please. I just got a game with people teleporting everywhere. I checked the kid who was lagging and he/she was not in USA. The servers are dedicated to a point. But not all people have good internet. So add in options. Even add in the option to find what kind of people to play against. It should say lone wolf or teamwork. If you click team work it will find other people who picked team work. Hopefully people with team work will have mics. Lone wolf will find people with the option lone wolf. Even though halo reach didn’t have dedicated servers atleast I could have an option to select a region. Because mostly people around me have the same network connection. Every place has a different ping. Please 343 take this in consideration. The sandbox on halo 5 is great. Yeah there is a lot of things I don’t like but I can handle the sandbox. I’m tired of laggy games though.

I agree there should be more options. Some people closer to you will have better internet than people who are further away.

It’s obviously an idea that they have already seriously considered because they’ve added it at a basic level into Halo 5 in a relatively recent update.
Adding too many search filter options will just increase search wait times and then people will complain about that. Lone wolf/teamplay options seem rather excessive, but Ping as a priority should be one.

Not really, especially since halo 5 has a big population like we were just told. If they added in search times that could help prevent lag and add in more Gamemodes I’m 100% sure more people would start playing halo 5. Adding those features won’t hurt but help halo 5. Now they won’t help MCC since it has a low population. And focused and the stuff they added helps to an extent. But I rather be able to search for local people with good internet then playing with a foreigner with bad internet that causes me to quit the game just because of lag or teleportation

I’d rather be able to search for local people with similar internet. Remember every country doesn’t have advanced technology. Some countries have better technology than others. Now that’s the same with Internet. Give the option so I could find someone. Now of course if the search time took forever it would force you to play with a foreigner. I also want to meet new people who actually speak English.

Ping. I agree with you. Search by Ping as an option. Ping, the delay in your packets being sent and received… the measure of a stable/reliable connection.
Good ping means no lag.
Simply being in the same region or country doesn’t mean you will have a good connection with other players. This is why I suggest searching based on Ping/latency
Well the only option I want is “selectable servers” that show the ping. That alone would be a marvel in itself! If we are truly playing this game on dedicated servers like they claim then having this option should be a no brainer. The complete lack of not having it is very suspicious to me… The whole purpose to having dedicated servers is being able to access them… What we got now is far from that. And to be honest totally defeats the purpose in having them (dedicated servers)… Im very tired of playing with players that speak no English. And of course the lag that goes with it.

It would be nice to have a wide gamut of options. I liked the social preferences (chatty, competitive, quiet, etc) and the latency/region matches. I know nothing about programming but it seems like a relatively simple filter if they chose to add it.

I’m glad we agree on the same thing. However 343 just announced that halo 5 has almost the biggest population in halo history. If that being said then search times shouldn’t be a problem. There should be more things like local. I want to find people that play who speak English and are working as a team player. That’s just an example. Or they could completely copy the halo reach search.
