I love Banshees and Hornets and Falcons and Wasps and the Phaeton, but that’s about it in forge and custom games and there’s only one type in Halo 5, so can you (343) please add more ships to the game? Or at least put them all together, but I want some more new official flying vehicles in Halo.
It would be really cool to see vehicles from Halo Wars 2 added to the FPS games. The Vulture seems like it would be tons of fun. The Condor would be great too
The Condor is a transport ship right? So it would be cool if it could drop ammo crates or something of that sort.

If we get that bigger team battle game type people are asking for we could use them to just do a massive man drop in the middle of combat. Plus I think it had some nice guns on it too
I really wana see the vulture since its my favorite halo vehicle. I know it will never happen but i can dream. I think they would have to tweak it a bit to work in fps but thats fine with me. I imagine vulture mk. II would be a bit smaller and the pilot would use the cannons and fly the thing. the aa rocket turrets would be moved to the side like on the falcon and controled by player 2/3. Could even give it shields like the wasp. I know people like me have been scrambeling for multiseated air vehicles to return and i think a new vulture or similar vehicle could fit that.
We. Need. Hawks… ASAP.
I could imagine that we could have a multi-personnel assault vehicle, that could be something like the Condor or the Vulture. I think this goes for ground vehicles too. Something you can pack your team full of in BTB and just go hog wild on the enemy team. This brings up the fact that maybe a vulture and elephant would make great use as spawnable destructive vehicles in Infinite. Although, come on; we need the friggin’ Hawk dude.
Hawks would be cool, it’d basically be a sky-warthog (with one less person).
Honesty as long as at least 2-3 people can get in an air vehicle I’ll be happy. I don’t care which one it is.
The falcon from Halo Reach was an incredibly fun and useful VTOL vehicle that requires teamwork and key positioning to work. It also worked well for the large forge environment where moving and deploying teammates could mean a big difference. The Hornet, while similar in fashion, was less focused on teamwork in the air. That is unless your friends in the side had a spartan laser, rocket, or other high damage splash weapon. Both would be much appropriated. However internal variety is also great to have. In Halo Reach the Falcon in the campaign was not easily brought to multiplayer. It would be nice to have the ability to attach/detach the main guns and rockets (for hornets) and also increase the holding capacity (such as with falcons which in campaign could hold 5-6 passengers including the gunners).
I would like to see a UNSC aircraft that isn’t VTOL. I also hope the phaeton makes a return, but it would need to be nerfed before it would be suitable for traditional matchmaking
I would like to see the return of the hornets and falcons, maybe make the spirit a pilot able vehicle to be the counterpart to the UNSC Falcon. Pelicans and Drop ships should stay NPC controlled.

Well again it would be an interesting boss fight if we were ever allowed to fight against the UNSC (something Bungie never allowed). I can see the mechanics acting very similar to the scarab with hover jet engines being damaged forcing the vulture to make an emergency landing so you can board and take out the reactor, or take flight and blow off the vent on the back of the vulture exposing the core and blow it up from there.
I love halo since the very first one but I think it’s time for the pelican to be in multiplayer and forge same thing is the phantom covenant vehicle I want bigger air vehicle in Halo Infinite!!
Pelican That can shoot
Phantom that can shoot
and bring back the falcon and hornet
Please 343 industries!!
Yo doods. We need strafing aircraft like Sabres and Longswords.
Also redesigned the Wasp to fit its profile name just like the Scorpion, right now the Wasp looks like a manta ray not gonna lie xd

Also the fact that it looks phallic and I don’t know how it got past editors

While I would like to see Longswords and Phantoms in multiplayer I think there are some that should be NPC controlled. Maybe a longsword bombing run can be called in using the target designator or phantoms could be used as a spawn point that has some guns to act sort of as a spawn hive.
As for sabers, well Halo Saber would make an interesting spinoff game. Just add some more customization for saber (like replacing cannons with Spartan lasers) and also allow for different variety of Starfighters (Seraphs and longswords would be a nice touch) and you could have a decent stick flyer game in the Halo universe. Heck maybe even put in missions and use for Phantoms and Pelicans.
I think an air assault/invasion mode where you fly different fighters and transport aircraft and try to destroy a large enemy ship could be fun. It could be like the mode in battlefield 1 where you fly planes around and try to take down the enemy airship. One team could be UNSC, the other team Could be Covent. They could even add different factions on different maps. The UNSC could use Hornets, Wasps, Falcons, Sabres, longswords, broadswords, shortswords, vultures, pelicans, condors, and bumblebees, while the covenant could fly Banshees, seraphs, phantoms, Spirits, litches, and maybe ghosts ( reference to in Halo First Strike when ghosts are referred to as “fliers”. In order to make up for the UNSC having more craft, the covenant ships could have variants:
Banshees:
• Halo CE/2/3 banshee would be a well rounded fighter craft.
• Halo Reach/4 banshee could be a stealth fighter, with the capability to go into active camo for a short time.
• Halo Reach orbital banshees could be way faster, with the trade off being that they have little health.
• Halo 5 Banshees could be beefier Banshees with heavier energy shielding, at the cost of being slower.
Phantoms:
•Phantom Drop ship could have high health, but mediocre weaponry.
• Phantom Gunboat could be a phantom that exchanges some of its armor for heavy firepower.
• Halo 5 phantom would be a little faster than the other two, and it would be a middle ground when it comes to firepower, but it would have very little health, and only a weak energy shield.
Litches:
• Regular Litch would have fairly average weapons, and would be best used as a temporary distraction. Both Litch variants would be able to hold a number of players to mount the plasma turrets, or just ride along and watch.
• Heavy Litch would have a scarab beam, but it would be very slow to aim, it would be weaker than a regular scarab beam, and the ship itself would be much slower, and the player using it would be marked as a secondary objective to destroy for the UNSC, as long as they use it.
Capital ships would be the primary objective of the mode. Each team would have one capital ship.
• The covenant capital ship would be a covenant corvette, it would have three target areas that the UNSC would have to take down before they can start destroying it: 1. The engines. 2. The turrets (note: the turrets on both capital ships will actively fire at players that fly close.). 3. The docking bay.
• The UNSC capital ship would be a Phoenix class freighter. It would have four target areas for the Covenant to attack: 1. The slip space drive. 2. The engine. 3. The turrets. 4. The cockpit.
Both capital ships will fly around each other in aggressive actions until their engines are destroyed. The Covenant ship’s engines will have more health, and be faster. The UNSC ship will periodically use it’s slip space drive for evasive maneuvers until either the drive or the cockpit is destroyed. The slipspace ruptures from the UNSC ship will damage and destroy Friendlies and enemies alike, do be careful. Both ships will also periodically launch missile or plasma barrages at each other or large player driven ships. When the capital ships fire on each other, they will not do any actual damage, it’s just for visual effect. And before anyone comes after me about this, I know that the UNSC doesn’t use slipspace in atmosphere or for short jumps, this would only be for gameplay.
That concludes my idea. what do you think? Please limit all negative feedback to constructive criticism.
If they bring the wasp back they seriously need to improve It’s strength. It basically crumbles like paper and doesn’t take much to get blown up. I recently took one out with 3/4 of a single Saw clip. I honestly felt bad for the guy.
I’m still hoping we can one day make a custom game that is a blend between SWAT and Invasion where one team first needs to do a swift airdrop on a complex with several barricaded entrances. Pelicans would be great for that, but something similar to the Falcon would be amazing as well. After breaking in, the SWAT team would need to reach a certain area within the complex to hold or extract something from (and then fly away again).
Sidenote aside: having more air vehicles would allow for more diverse gametypes etc. I do feel they need to be fairly small to make them work in multi. Things like the Vulture and Condor would mean you’d reach the end of a map within 3 seconds ;). Hornet and Wasp should return, maybe bring in the Sparrowhark and have us control a Honeybee drone during campaign?
I’d love to drive a Blisterback.
