PLEASE add Halo Infinite to MCC.

As an add-on or a redownload, doesn’t matter I would rather have the achievements all under 1 app or game. Do you know what I mean? That way in my opinion we’ll still be be able to get everyone to play the other Halo Multiplayers. Halo 3 is my favorite and I’d like to play the story for Infinite. I believe people with MCC would be more enticed to buy as well.

I like this idea. They should add Halo 5 as well.

That ain’t happening.

Halo 5 would physically be unable to be added to MCC. It’s too different. They would have to add search options only for 5, some of the weekly challenges such as Rock n Rail would have to go as it is only able to be used in 5, REQ packs, the customisation, etc.

also, H5 (and presumably infinite) is already the size of MCC. I really dont need a 300 gigabyte game.

Even if 343 wanted to do that, it wouldn’t be possible.

Why do so many people want MCC to be an absolutely bloated mess? MCC is fine as is. It’s essentially the classic Halo collection with Reach and 4 as bonuses. You add in Halo 5 and Halo Infinite and in a few years the MCC will probably take up over a TB of storage space. When Halo 5 gets a PC port, it should be a standalone game. When Infinite comes out, it too should be a standalone game. There’s no need to force all these different games with different engines to be under the same UI and to try and play nice with each other.

No, please don’t. Things work as is.

Good to know. From someone who just got back into playing halo since halo 2. When I got MCC I thought it odd that Halo 5 was not part of the “collection”. I mean if all other ‘Masterchief’ based games are under one roof why would 5 be separate. But with it being such a different build I see why it’s separate.

Infinite is meant to become its own version of an MCC over the corse of its lifetime.

It wouldn’t make sense to add it to the MCC.

I see people requesting this for Halo 5: Guardians and Infinite. What would be the point? So people don’t have to start a different game or want to use the match composer with all the games? I’ve never heard a valid reason unfortunately.

Despite all this it won’t happen. MCC brings all of the prior FPS Haloes to the eighth-generation console. Halo 5 and Halo Infinite are apart of that generation (or beyond).

I love Halo, but I can’t wait to uninstall MCC and only have Infinite. I only play MCC on PC right now because Halo 5 isn’t on PC (I was gaming on Xbox up until about a year and a half ago, so I played H5 a lot since day 1, then switched to PC).

I don’t know halo MCC is basically halo clásic games colecction. And halo infinite in halo MCC is not necesary because You can play in PC and consoles…

My original thinking was Halo MCC is like a bundle of games. The only Masterchief game it doesn’t include is Halo 5. Being a first time buyer of Halo (well in quite some time since the last halo I had played was Halo 2 quite some years ago now) So I really didn’t understand why Halo 5 was separate. I mean every other Masterchief based Halo game was under one roof why not have Halo 5 especially since it’s been out for several years now and is called Masterchief collection.

But now I understand that Halo 5 is really its own beast and runs off of a different engine if I understand correctly.

And now from the sounds of it Halo Infinite is poised to be like its own MCC world so Infinite certainly wouldn’t be added to MCC either.

Please no.

Won’t happen. The coding for all of the elements of those games is completely different. The netcode alone would be horrible to sort out if you added infinite and/or H5. This would result in an even worse mishmash that made up the MP experience in MCC’s early days.

nope. MCC and halo 5 are fine on their own and should stay that way as I’ll still be playing them when infinite comes out.

I have a feeling that Infinites gb size will be too big

If anything, they are taking inspiration from MCC to implement in Halo Infinite.

No way would they do that. Even to add Halo 5 to it would be a nightmare of a project. And even if they did plan for this, you wouldn’t see it for years, hell maybe decades.

I’d imagine the point would be the same reason MCC exists in the first place rather than releasing every Halo game individually on the new hardware. I agree with Halo 5 being apart of it but not Infinite.
