Please? pretty please? I really don’t see why they haven’t done it yet. It wasn’t in Halo 4 and it isn’t in Halo 5. We have the armors and helmets for every other spartan on Blue Team and Osiris, so why not Chief? c’mon. Some of us wanna use that strange variant of the MKVI (Or the MKVII, whatever they’re calling it now).
It looks good! would be a nice thing to unlock.
It would be cool but would make his armor less unique since its special armor made by Cortana with nano bots.

Well, that’s a canon inconsistency. But the armor he has in Halo 5 is a different set, as you can tell by the repaired chest piece and what not. The helmet itself is apparently “Mark 7” not too, though that could be a lie. Either way! i’d love to see the armor in the multiplayer, it’d make for a sweet legendary unlock.
If it has to be completed solo Legendnary then I am fine with it.

Exactly. Instead of just the 'roll the dice, for almost every armour now that isn’t Achilles or the hcs gear

Yeah. It woild make things less painful. I would rathed complete Halo on Legendnary then to have the Req system.

Oh yeah I totally agree with that. It’d be very nice to see it as a campaign unlock. We really need a return to task set unlocks, they truly felt like you earned it. No more of these silly random unlocks.

I remember slaving away at the Vidmasters to unlock Recon, hours and hours or gameplay and attempts trying to get every last one. It felt so satisfying and joy inducing when I finally finished ‘The Road to Recon’, definitely one of the greatest highlights of my Halo career, if not my gaming career in general! good times 
I was really mad when they gave Recon away for free because of that haha

Well it was just one of the 3 varients so its not a true recon like the Recon base.

If 343 actually made legitimate unlocks like collecting all the skulls or complete the game solo legendary, then I would wear that stuff like eod and hayabusa from halo 3

In Halo 3? I got all 3 variants from the Road to Recon. That’s what i’m referring to. (I apologize if I’ve misunderstood what you were saying.)

It would be cool to have that. But with Halo 5 MC helmet with the cracked visor amd Halo 4 armor.

Maybe both variants? like the MK6 in the game has both clean and scarred variants? that’d be awesome 
I think the idea is that since 343i made multiplayer canon, each player in multiplayer is his/her own Spartan. I don’t think 343i wants anyone exactly reproducing any characters from the campaign. This is likely why the armor styles available in multiplayer have design differences from their campaign counterparts, like weird white stripes. In this way, 343i prevents us from exactly replicated the look of story characters, like Locke, Buck, etc. Along the same lines, they prevent us from looking like the Chief because he has his Cortana-modded suit and all we have are the classic Mark VI styles.

If that’s what it is, then it seems like they’re just shooting themselves in the foot there. (I do find it annoying how all the armors are slight variations, I wear Locke’s armor but don’t have all the neon lights 
)
They really should just phase out this “canon multiplayer” thing, honestly i’ve never seen anyone who cares about it. Personally i’d much rather just have these items in the multiplayer for customization purposes. I’m sure many others would too.
