Please do not add weapon skins like the gimmick pizza skins. I really hate those type of skins. Atleast make a filter options for weapon and vehicle skins like mcc but a bit more advanced then that.

i think you have to be more specific what you’re referring too

Halo 5 has an assault rifle skin which makes it look like pepperoni pizza.
Inevitably skins like that while gimmicky is what a fair portion of people like.
I always thought a cool setting would be so that you only see default weapon skins if you want.
The Pepperoni Pizza Skin
Stop being boring, pizza skin for life.

Hell yeah Watts!
They should up their game and introduce a whole dang pizza themed armour coating. If my Spartan doesn’t look like a super-supreme then why on Earth am I playing?
You can barely even notice other players weapon skins, it ain’t a big deal lol.
Skins like that can come through the fractures. Whose to say there wouldn’t be a unicorn Splaser that fires bubbles, hearts, and rainbows (wuv woo skull from Wars), out the backside of the unicorn?
crazy cosmetic completely destroy the atmosphere for me.
How would a pizza coating hurt the game in any way? I have never understood and will never understand why people hate it when other players are having fun.
Maybe they should have an season just for this kinda stuff for those who like it… Just so they’re easy to spot in PVP.
Those immersion-breaking skins are still better than the -Yoink- H5 armors like Seeker and Squidward house.
Don’t worry, I’m sure they’ll have a panic button (like a toggle, but even better) for people who might get sensory overload from playing Infinite. I hear it closes your game and opens up Halo 3.

That’s the first time I have heard the term “Squidward House” used to describe an armor set in H5, but it’s a perfect one because I immediately knew what you were referring to lol.
I’ve never understood why people hated those skins. Halo multiplayer isn’t some hardcore mil shooter where the whole point is to be immersed in a military like simulation where I can see something like that being annoying. Halo multiplayer has all sorts of silly stuff like unrealistic ragdolls, people teabagging one another, armor effects like grunt birthday or people having their helmets on fire. Why do some people decide that pizza ar skin is somehow crossing the line when Halo multiplayer may as well be a party game for most people.
If you think they’re going to add a filter to remove skins in a free-to-play game where cosmetics are the primary monetary income you’re outta your mind.

People that would block skins are not the type to buy them in the first place.

It’s not about them though, it’s about the people who have bought or accomplished skins, not being able to show them off to other people. Why would 343 screw over paying players over players complaining but not buying anything. Makes no sense, they gotta make money.

They did add a filter options to turn off skins for your end om MCC.
Some people like me that are old school Halo players that played halo since CE, 2 or 3, like the Weapons to look like they did without any Weapon skins.
But i do not hate all the Weapon skins… i hate Weapon skins like pizza or a unicorn on the Weapon. I would love if 343i could make a more advance version of the toggle skins on or off the way they did with MCC. Like i only want x types of skins to not be shown or x types of skins to be shown.

The difference between the MCC system is that you already paid for the game, there’s no incentive to not have the toggle on there. Infinite however is free-to-play where the buy-in comes in the form of cosmetics, that is how 343 is going to be keeping the lights on in the studio. So having a toggle there will literally reduce their revenue income. Why would they risk that? In a perfect world where Infinite is free-to-play and 343 has no financial stakes, I understand. But we live in reality, where they need to make money and they don’t want to alienate the paying portion of players by making their purchases “optional viewing” to everyone else. At that point why not just download a client side skin, it’s no different and free. It defeats the purpose of players putting in money.
