It’s really annoying to play a specific mission with no option to replay or just go back to the menu once you have completed it.
Say that I have a challenge that requires me to complete Delta Halo (H2) and Halo (CE), for the challenge to count I have to get to the post-game carnage screen, otherwise I techncially haven’t completed the mission. With how it is now, I can’t just quit out of the campaign on the post-game carnage screen, the ONLY option I have is to either continue to the next mission OR if I absolutely do not want to start the next mission I have to open up task manager, find the MCC process and kill it (because alt+F4 doesn’t work on that screen for some reason).
A “quit to menu” button is so basic, I can’t believe it wasn’t added 7 years ago.
I 100% agree. This is one of those quality of life improvements the game needs. If such a thing won’t be added then at the very least allow us to create our own custom playlists for said challenges.
I think that’s an alright idea, but should probably only be enabled if you have scoring/timing on. If you don’t have those enabled then you won’t get a pgcr screen and it will automatically load to the next mission.
It is really shocking that they hadn’t already implemented this, when you complete a mission you should have the option to continue, restart, or quit.
I agree with this, like I have a Series X & it loads quick to the next level but I would rather have this Option

Exactly.
They could just tie the functions to buttons, and have the prompts appear during the post mission screen.
A to continue, B to quit, and X to restart.
Simple.
All I want is that next mission, replay mission, and quit to main menu options. I don’t know how difficult that will be considering halo CE through 3 are held together with duct tape and hope but it would be a really nice change
Agreed. It starts to get annoying pretty fast if you are going for par score or time. These options should have been there day 1.
