The problem is people will get mad that the lost and just claim someone to be a cheater. I cannot tell you how many times people thought I was modding in MM just for doing good.

I know of real occurrences in Halo 3 where the ban hammer has been wrong… I really hope the ban hammer this time around is extremely updated.

Good point, but I trust that 343 would know the difference between actual cheaters and not someone reporting someone because they are butthurt that they lost.

While I like the idea of a cheaters playlist, I have been accused of cheating and told I would be reported multiple times in Max Payne 3. Funny thing is they never message me back when I ask them to prove it, sore losers I guess. But also I’ve never to my knowledge played with anyone cheating in Halo, Idk if Im lucky or what but I havnt noticed it or heard anyone complain about it.

In Halo it is very rare to match up with someone that actually can mod online, I’ve only been matched up twice, once in H3 and once in Reach. The thing is xbox’s security is really great at preventing people with modded xbox’s to even get online and Halo you need a modded xbox online (unlike some CoDs), only a very very few people actually can get online. And of those people that can, they mostly just stick to CoD because the kids there are willing to pay for their rank.

Ive played against at least 100+ different host booters. The numbers are higher than you would expect.

Being accused has nothing to do with this it tracks modders and throws them into the cheater pool.

Sorry, I thought the issue was modding.
Couldn’t the game keep other players IP’s hidden to prevent booting?
I have defiantly found a cheater… His gamer tag is Critict. If any of you use HaloTracker u can search him there also. Here’s a link http://www.halotracker.com/Reach/ReachStats.aspx?Gamertag=Critict . If we can get rid of people like this Halo would be a much better game. You cant get that armor with that rank .
