Why can’t the Halo: Reach community get a little love regarding the DLC maps? The game is seven years old going on eight and it still has a more populated player base than H4. That is because we love our Halo: Reach Multiplayer, but we also want to play on our DLC maps in Matchmaking!
When 343i removed the Premium Battle and Premium Slayer playlists, the DLC players became super scattered. It is now 2017 and believe it or not, but matching up with other DLC players nowadays is like hitting the lottery or discovering a rare unicorn. It’s either you play them in custom games, or you do not play them at all.
Please, 343i! Either bring back a Premium Playlist or release the Noble and Defiant Map Packs as free DLC to the Reach community.
We just want to play on our DLC maps in Matchmaking one way or the other.
343 doesn’t care about a game that brings in no money anymore. Look at the MCC. 343 was stupid to remove the dlc playlists and implement the TU thing that broke up the community. 343 just jumped in, messed around with halo reach, and then got out.
If we’re on the topic of dlc map packs, what about Halo 4. You would have thought being created by 343 they would have made a dedicated dlc map playlist for that as well. Nope. I have all the dlc for reach and 4 yet am unable to play any of the maps, what a load of BS.
Wouldn’t you think that having a DLC playlist would at least give players some incentive to purchase the map packs? OR how about at least advertise the DLC when you boot up Reach? No, instead we get a screen telling us that [Less than 3 days until the launch of Halo 4!].
There are so many cool maps not being played in Matchmaking. I don’t care that I paid for them at this point, I just want them back in the damn rotation. We really do need a playlist revamp, the community is smaller and there are dead playlists just taking up space like Super Slayer and The Arena, yet we can’t even have one DLC playlist to enjoy the other maps.
I just find it frustrating
Back to Sword Base, Asylum and Countdown games all the time.
