i was very excited that the BR was being brought back for halo 4. Since the first game i played, i noticed the amount of disadvantage it has over the DMR considering 90% of the maps are large maps. i love the BR and i want to keep on using it but i don’t want to be forced to use the DMR because the BR sucks long range. its unbalanced. This is halo 4 not Reach where the best gun to use is the DMR… i know there are alot o people that agrees with this. Even the pros at Dallas mostly stuck with the DMR because they know it, the DMR has more of an advantage over the BR in these over sized maps.
Another one of these threads. Great.
Simple solution. Dont try to use the BR for long-range engagements, that’s not what it’s meant to be used for in this game.
seriously? every map except maybe haven is long range battles. They need to fix the BR , its a must . its unbalanced. and so many people agree with me.
The BR is fine, the only issue is the DMR, which trumps it in every category.
As I’ve said a dozen other times on these forums, the DMR needs to shoot slower.
And it’s not like I dislike the gun–I just want a reason to use other weapons instead of the DMR.
Once the DMR is fixed, the BR will be better. The BR doesn’t need to be incredibly powerful, just an accurate weapon for close to mid-range engagements, and the DMR for mid to long-range engagements.
Learn to blame yourself, don’t blame the game.
BR’ers always waste me with my DMR. And sometimes vice-versa. It’s a very good weapon.
90% of maps are long range? What?
Ragnarok is the only one big enough for the DMR, unless you’re just sitting in spots waiting for someone to walk through the 1 small spot on the other maps.
Try out the Carbine. DMR is fine.
