Please 343i delay Infinite again here's why...

I can’t be the only one, there’s something so magical about playing a new halo game Co-Op with your friends on opening night, or delving into Forge before even touching the campeign and seeing all the crazy stuff there is and getting excited just seeing all the different things that will be in game… We’ve waited so long, and if the release doesn’t have everything for everyone, when the features are implemented down the road people won’t have the same experience because they will know what to expect. PLEASE DELAY THE GAME I’d rather wait and have a truly polished game even if it takes another half year, rather than have a repeat of halo 5 at launch. I PROMISE THE FANS ARE NOT MAD, but so much of halos future really depends on the success of this game regardless, and so many halo fans have been waiting and holding there breath, to release the game pre maturely would be like a disservice to the fans when you claimed it was like the original halo you intended to make or like the classic games which had all those features at launch. just an honest opinion if you don’t delay the game to give you guys the appropriate amount of time to flesh the games standard features out I probably won’t touch the game until it’s complete so I can enjoy the full thing because I haven’t been able to enjoy a new halo together with my bros spoiler free since halo 4 in 2012 on the 360…

Unfortunately I’m of the mind that it would be a bad idea for them to delay it yet again. I do want to give what I feel about the situation for the other side. Co-Op and Forge undoubtedly have become very important modes to Halo but here’s the thing. Forge isn’t the same as when it first released, it’s practically a genuine map maker now over a map editing tool it once was so it would have to match Halo 5 or be better than it in some capacity. As for the campaign this is supposed to be a huge open world story, we’re practically getting a Halo RPG as a campaign minus the grinding of RPGs so co-op itself probably isn’t as easy to implement as past games. So why does this all tie in? I’ve noticed a lot of people saying they don’t want a Cyberpunk but here’s the problem with continuous delays. Sure the game will be better but the more you delay a game the more people drop interest, and I’d be willing to bet the general public wouldn’t be too happy hearing Halo Infinite delayed til next year for two features that are at least confirmed to come within the first year of the game’s life. That’s unfortunately the way it is regardless of how anyone would say otherwise, the more a game is delayed the more interest in said game will drop, expectations in others may also raise because of it as well. Just my input but it is interesting to see both sides of the argument

Whilst I understand that some people are disappointed by the omission of co-op and forge at launch, these features are coming. If the lack of these features at launch is a deal breaker, then the game is effectively delayed for you - that’s your choice. However, I don’t see why those of us who are quite happy with the available content at launch should have to endure another delay to sate a vocal minority’s demands.

You also have to remember that the game is currently slated to launch on Halo’s 20th Anniversary. As well as all the negative impact a delay would bring, overshooting the BDay would only amplify it.

Originally it was meant to be the first console-launch-Halo since the original in 2001. Then it became entangled with Halo’s 20th Anniversary. MS probably had the final say to keep the release and not delay.

It’s fitting that Halo releases in an “incomplete state” on it’s Holiday lol. People don’t understand the irony especially with Halo CE and Halo 2.

Christmas is the biggest time of year for sales. Xbox games pass has had zero new games this year, that is new and fresh, delaying this campaign another 3 months, will hurt game pass subscribers and unlimited subscribers. I have also played Halo, solo every time and then gone onto co-op and that is the same for 90% of gamers, who have played halo past 20 years. The statistics do not lie. You cannot cater to everyone’s needs and be a successful company and business. Delay the campaign, for the minority and your PR, marketing and reputation is shot dead. And two years in a row, there will be no saving face.
