please 343, I don’t know of you’re paying attention to the community or not. But we are begging you to stop with the month of mythic. It’s a nightmare. A gaming nightmare, and it’s because of microsofts greed. Micro transactions were a bad idea when they first started in halo 5, but now you’re encouraging us to buy these weapons. I say no more. Micro transactions never get more player friendly. Only more aggressive. I know there are already threads about this, but you haven’t seemed to get the message. Because I keep hearing “oh, buy this magnificent pack of whichever legendary weapon for 10 dollars! It’ll be great!” Stop milking halo like it’s a -Yoink!- cow. If you make a good game, with a good campaign, split screen, a good UI, working multiplayer and everything at launch, sales alone will generate enough revenue. Micro transactions have never been necessary to halo until you screwed up on halo 5 so bad. Listen to us damn it! We don’t want month of mythic! I don’t know how much clearer I can make my point. I know some monitor is going to shut this thread down, but please stop! Halo isn’t some new mobile app, micro transactions are not and never will be necessary if you give us a good game.

This will be every month, so get used to it, F2P is the new gaming condition, microtransactions are the new income of the company, and it works!!, otherwise they wont be doing it, i actually prefer that to the DLC.

Generally, it could be argued that gaming communities complain too much about everything lol
Using the hashtags, I’m sure you’ve seen LNG’s videos, so you should know that he said this was already planned, and they don’t want to just stop it. You should also know that 343 have no control when it comes to this.
No one has to buy the packs. Just progress normally and you’ll unlock the items with time. I think it makes sense that they’d charge money if you wanted to skip the game’s natural unlock system to get new things quick and easy. They’re basically saying, “Sure you can unlock this weapon without any effort on your part, but you’ll have to agree to pay us in return for giving this to you if you don’t even want to try.” It’s not like they’re going to just give it away because some people want to be lazy and just be handed powerful weapons.
Except this doesn’t unbalance the game, it just gives lower-level players mythic weapons that they can’t spawn due to low REQ levels. Even if they do end up spawning any mythics, all they do is die really fast with them. This basically just adds more opportunities for higher level players to get mythic weapons and either lengths the amount of time uneducated/ignorant/impatient players take to get REQs or gives Microsoft more money.

Halo 5 isn’t F2P.
Neither is the concept new, and doubtfully anything we’ll see used in a larger scale by AAA developers and publishers in their mainline games, or made with quality / popularity.
For the love of Lucifer, could you stop whining about it? I mean seriously you’ve overreacted big time. “A gaming nightmare”? How is it a nightmare? I haven’t noticed a lot of people using those REQ’s anyway. If you don’t want the pack don’t get the bloody pack! Perhaps they are there so you can actually USE them because you don’t normally get to? You know because they’re super precious and we barley get to use them. The month is over anyway so you’re a tad late mate.
