With the transfer of the Halo IP almost complete a legacy of gaming is about to come to an end. At the end of this month Halo 3 will no longer have any stat tracking or file share. I humbly ask 343 to at least continue the stat tracking or some kind of support of Halo 3. For many of us in the Halo community, Reach fell far short of the mark. Meaning for five years we’ve played the true Halo of this generation, Halo 3. Where Reach fell short, we could crawl back to the solid gameplay at the franchises core. With no Armor Abilities to hinder the gameplay, in short A.A. made the game feel uneven. And the exclusion of the Battle Rifle, with the DMR in its place, is inexcusable. I’m not trying to bash Reach in every way possible. The game did offer some improves unto the Halo formula. The story explained how Reach fell. (Even if the story did poke holes into the Halo novels a little bit.) Jet packs added more vertical gameplay and new ways to attack your foe. Forge grew exponentially. And graphically the game was leaps and bounds above 3. My point is that Halo 3 is simple, unadulterated Halo at it’s finest. Pure and unfiltered. I know that my pleas will probably fall unto deaf ears but alas I’ve tried to state my case. So again please keep some kind of support for the gem that is Halo 3.
As someone who tries to play Halo 3 regularly, I agree. I really hope 343 has a surprise or Halo 3, a good one!
I’m not asking nor expecting much. I understand that the game is five years old but said game has a very loyal following. 343 would win a lot of fans over if they continue support after the IP transfer.
Couldnt agree more, add me on xbl maybe we can play halo 3 together some time

I have doubts this will do anything, as 343 is quite content with finishing Halo 4, and making these last few months on Reach bearable for the community. Although some of Bungie’s blood is in there, and Bungie has surprised us before.
